I got a pretty good deal on a laser treatment...

$750
I got a pretty good deal on a laser treatment $750- she basically threw in the chest laser for me since I've been going to her for a long time. It was partially CO2, under my eyes and a strip down my neck and all over my chest - the rest was the Yerbium laser. It's been almost 2 full months, and no, I would not do it again.
My wrinkles are much worse specially around my eyes! The part that really bothered me the most where she applied the CO2 laser. I'm really bummed about that. I went back and had Botox three weeks later and it didn't help anything at all. I don't know if it's just me and my skin doesn't rebuild right but it's not rebuilding there at all.
The next thing that bothers me is that my sunspots never went away and are the same if not worse because I had to stop doing Obagi with the Retin-A cream. I've been using sunscreen like crazy including a base tinted moisturizer with dog 25 plus my make up has spf in as well and I also wear a hat if I know I'm going to be outside for a period of time.
Another thing that bothers me, is that my pores are still huge on my nose, I was assured that it would really help that too. Nope, still the same.
So, all in all, no, I would never have it done again! I healed very quickly which means I probably didn't get a very deep depth penetration laser. I did numb for an hour with numbing cream all over my face so it was not that invasive...hence the cost. But $750 is quite a lot of money and if I'm worse off then it was a huge mistake.

It should say Erbium laser not yerbium, lol and the sunscreen part that says dog 25 should say spf 25- no clue how that happened!

I don't see your before pics but your skin looks really smooth in the final pic. How are you feeling now about it?

Hi, all of my before pics are with makeup, I should've taken one right before but I didn't think about it, it's still only been 60 days and I can now see visible wrinkles on my cheeks with my magnification mirror and before the laser I didn't see any :( - I also have worse eye wrinkles. I am so worried that I may have paid to damage my skin. I started my Obagi regimen a few days ago which includes tretinoin so hope that will stir up and start new cells to fill in all the microscopic holes that were fried out of my skin. I will update at the 90 day mark. Thanks for asking :0)

I don't see any wrinkles I think you look great! We're definitely too hard on ourselves. So it sounds like you're doing all the proper treatment afterwords I have no idea I hope my under eye wrinkles improve somehow I've seen people have the skin cut out and it just makes them look scary so I'm not sure what other options there are. :(

Thank you for that :) I know what you mean about eye surgery - scary outcome unless you have a very good plastic surgeon. Bots really helps the smoke lines around your eyes but directly under eye wrinkles are so hard to treat. I wish there was a really good eye cream that really works.

Me too! Ive tried tons! I did notice that hyaluronic acid face cream took away a lot of the wrinkles I had that were smaller around my eyes though so get some of that mines cheap works amaze from Puritans pride. I paid almost 5k for c02! I better look amazing in the next 6 mo or I'm going to be livid!

You should avoid the Botox as well. It causes muscle atrophy. They are creating future face lift patients!!!
