Just a quick update. Its been a year since my Ultherapy. The procedure, use of Hyaluronic Acid Serum before my moisturizer at night time and SPF30 Daycream before my makeup has served me well. I feel good and have been told that my skin looks amazing. You have to work at your skin to keep it looking good and feeling nourished, and have a little tweak like Ultherapy or a Laser Facial now and then. I want to age gracefully but not give in and look old and tired. Have to be reasonable.

I'm starting to really see a difference. No regrets. My skin feels good and I can see that the jowls are starting to pull up. Texture of my skin is smoothing. I have makeup on in this picture. I'll try to post some more next week when I have more time.

You look amazing! I've been researching for 3 years and the mixed reviews have made me too nervous to take the plunge. You are not far from me. I'd love to know what office you went to.

I went to Skin MD and Beth did the procedure. They are at 161st and LaGrange (near Mama Mia tacos and tequila). I took 4 Advil and 1 Xanax before the procedure. It is not pain free. Be warned. They have an event coming up on Nov 21st where you can purchase procedures that day for future. They have the Ultherapy on sale for that along with lots of other stuff. I am very happy with what I see so far and it's not even 3 months. At six months I should see the full effect Beth said. Totally worth it!!!! Good luck! Post about it.

I did read many many bad reviews regarding all therapy I'm wondering if you read the same? And what help to you to make the decision despite all of the negative reviews? Do you happen to know how often this needs to be done, how long it is supposed to last and what long-term damage it may cause if any? Thanks!

Well I did my research from actual verified reviews, not ones just posted here. Things I looked for was the place it was done, who it was done by (were they done by a medical technician, nurse or doctor), how many years experience and price range. The Ultherapy works by stimulating the collagen that is way down deep under the dermis. The concept makes sense to me after reading the medical evaluations. I ready at least a hundred medical cases that were verified and also spoke with a board certified plastic surgeon. Skin MD told me the procedure should last up to five years with good skin care. In the society we live in today I feel that people are "sue" happy and I think sometimes some of the cases on here are not true and not verified. Anyone can take a picture from 20 years ago and claim that as their before picture and then say the Ultherapy aged them. I just have been trying to be as factual as I can and say what I experienced and have shown my actual pictures. I go back Dec. 16th for my three month evaluation and for them to take pictures again. Hopefully I will get their copies, I am going to ask them for copies. Ultherapy was developed at the Harvard School of Medicine and their controlled studies support that this is a safe and long lasting alternative to a face lift for those that have light to medium skin laxity. Do your research, this is your face. I have no remorse so far, happy I got it done.

You look fantastic! Thank you for sharing your journey. I too turned 53 (Sept 21) and have gone through some things that really rook their toll on me. 3 years ago I didn't look this haggard. It's amazing what stress can do to us. I want to do something about my saggy double-chin and was told Kybella wouldn't help me. My skin looks so....old. I'm mulling over laser tx. Thanks for sharing. I'm giving myself this for my Xmas gift.

No more swelling that I can see. I feel like my skin is getting tighter and notice a difference starting to happen with my jawline. I know its still really early. I'll keep giving updates! So far, so good.
