I’m scheduled to get my balloon put in on Monday and I’m excited. So I’ve purchase a swimsuit that is a size medium. I wear a size 14/ large and weight 201 lbs. I hopefully for a successful journey. My comfortable weight is around 150. Wish me luck

I'm close to the same size and weight as you. I also want to be around 150 lbs. Please share your experience. I want to know if the procedure is worth it. Not sure if I can get it done right now with Coronavirus pandemic happening.

You definitely will lose weight but no one can tell you how your body will react to it! I’ve had it for 3 months....the first week I was cool after that I’ve been sick most days! If it wasn’t for the pandemic I wouldn’t have been able to lay in bed most of the time. I lost a lil bit over 40lbs(I weigh myself Friday so I’m not quite sure) that’s awesome for 3 months but because I’m so sick I get it out This FRIDAY and I can’t wait!

I opted not do it because I saw that for the first 2 weeks or more you may be sick and you have to do a liquid diet diet 1 week and soft 1 week. My daughter has an eating disorder and I didn’t want to trigger her with what I was doing. So I will have to find another way.

Hey everyone I’m sorry that I didn’t put up an update. I was really sick with the balloon in so after about 3 months I took it out. I couldn’t eat anything and when I did I throw up that night or the next morning. I went down 30 lbs and since then I gain 10 lbs back. I feel better now. And I’m ok with weight now. Would recommend this to anyone else? I don’t know. I really feel my doctor didn’t follow up with me and took a long time to call me back. But I know that it wasn’t for me. And I spend a lot of money with no refund.
