Getting better day by day, my real problem is that I have a high tolerance to pain meds as I injured myself as a teen and have been on meds for year and year. I think my drains are bothering me the most as well and the groin incisions, but that's to be expected! I am moving much better and not sleeping as much! Here's som pics

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that:( I did have a thigh lift. I had both medial and vertical. My scar is only about 3 inches down and the rest all in groin area. I have no more pain 1 month out and I had no major problems. I have a small opening but it's slowly closing just fine. My pain in the thighs was only for about 3-4 days and then I started feeling much better. My TT never had any pain really. Now my breasts were terrible.

Day 6
DanyellggJanuary 18, 2015
I am so done with this crap! Lol First I want these drains out!! They tug and pull and I want them gone! Last night I did something and pulled something in my upper stomach chest region and it hurt so bad I felt like I was on fire! It took me a while to stop feeling so bad and a few pain pills. This morning is so sore I feel like I did the day after surgery again:( and my stitches are so dry but the dr hasn't said I can put anything on them yet. But I see him tomorrow. Well here's a few more thigh pics.

I'm so glad to read your progress. I'm scheduled to have my TL on Wednesday (Jan 21) and this time I am EXTREMELY nervous. I had thigh smart lipo in May of 2014 and I didn't have a very good recovery. I'm still numb around my knee. I didn't plan on having the TL but I'm not at all happy with the lipp results so I gave in.
I'm taking a week and half off work, i hope that's sufficient.
Plz write more post on your recovery.
Best of luck and thnx for info

I get better day by day:) remember I had 4 procedures done at once so I'm just miserable all around. One thing I will suggest is either a toilet raiser or a go girl like others have suggested. Also- keep a spray bottle near the toilet mixed with dial and water and keep your stitches clean. :)

Oh shoot! So Sorry amiga. You need to chill. I know how frustrated it is and you want to pull the crap out of them. But from the problems that I had with my hematoma and now I have a big scar to heal. I say chill and sleep as much as possible and don't bend into that toilet ever until your healed. Take goji berries to make you go #2. Don't strain as much as possible. Good Luck and we are here for you.....:-)

To late, I've been bending to the toilet since day 1. It isn't so bad, I have a walker and use my arms and leg muscles as much as possible. It's getting up from a couch that killed me. I'm going to look for the arnica everyone talks about. Thanks for the support!

The problem about couch and toilets is that you can rip a stitch and then you have problems. Be extra careful.

I have a walker and I've been using leg muscles galore! I also have had several family members at my disposal so going to the toilet is ok and I'm always careful there- it was the darn couch that got me:(

So excited for you! I cannot wait to get my stomach and thighs done. Do you have any before pics?

I know the drains are a pain, but they are *necessay* so you don't get seromas - you want to be able to get that fluid out! So if they are draining, that is a *good* thing! (that is what i told myself :-)) So sorry you are having a hard time :-(. I used Aquaphor ointment with permission of my PS on my incisions for the first two weeks to keep them moist. Ask your PS if you can try that!

I see him today and hopefully get drains out:) i know they are important but that doesn't stop them from being pains in the butt! Lol

I know! They somehow make u feel a bit grosser! I was so happy yo get them out too....the *only* way I tolerated them was to tell myself they are doing their job and that's a good thing! (Mental game!). Believe you me I was happy the day the last one was below the 25ml day output threshold!

I have about 25-30 a day but he still wasn't happy so Thursday we will see again:(
