Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this website and I just want to share my awful experience with microblading so far. Not sure what pushed me to undergo microblading, maybe the fact that my real brows are very light in color and I had to use a lot of pencil/powder to fill them in? Not sure.. but what I know is that microblading made it so much worse and I regret my awful decision. Today marks day 4 of my healing process and I absolutely hate: the color ( I am light skin, blonde) and the shape (one brow looks thinner than the other one). I bought hydrogen peroxide 3% but I am not brave enough to try it. I am afraid I will make more damage than any good. I didnt notice any peeling yet but I really hope that the pigment will fall or at least most of it during scabbing/peeling. Anyone has any ideas on what can I do to make my brows lighter or thinner?

I personally think they look good. I've read that other ladies have had microblading regrets, but after a week or so they're happy. Give it a little more time before you jump off a cliff (joking of course)! Your before brows were beautiful too! Just be patient.

I will be patiently waiting for the pigment to fade and hopefully peel off.. Let me tell you, I definitely miss doing eyebrows every morning - I cant believe I am actually saying this but I do miss it : ( I just feel like they are too strong on my face and I prefer more of a natural look but thank you for your kind words.

Stop panicking, Leave them alone. They will lighten up. It takes truly 4 weeks before u see the first results this is a two session process. I bet you look amazing

Please let the healing process finish completely before deciding if you truly like them or not. Do not use the peroxide. It will do more harm than good and scar your face. I know its scary, but I think the shape is really great. They are dark, but the color will fade ALOT. Just give it 4 weeks and decide, but DO NOT use the peroxide. Let us know how you are doing!

You're brows will heal 30% lighter and they will shrink at least 20% in size. I'm a professional microblader she has to go darker and larger so when they heal there's something left once your skin grows on top. The pigment oxidizes on the skin usually day 2-4 so that's why they probably look darker. Microblading is a process and things get rough before they get good

Day 6 After Microblading

Hello everyone!
Thank you everyone for your kind words and comments and making me feel more positive about this whole microblading journey. I did not touch my eyebrows with hydrogen peroxide or any other chemical to remove anything, I simply let it heal like you have all suggested. So today marks day 6 of my healing process and I did notice the color faded significantly and shrunk a bit in size. The tattoo I would say is less sharp as it was on a day 1 or day 2 and finally I can see my real eyebrows! I noticed that my technician trimmed/cut a chunk of my eyebrows before the procedure so I purchased castor oil to grow them out a bit. I will start applying castor oil after everything heals completely. One thing that really bothers me is that one of the eyebrow seems a bit thicker than the other one. I have a touch up scheduled in a month but to be honest, not sure if I will go to it yet. I kind of miss using my eyebrow pencil and powder every morning ughhhhhhhhh.

I think it would be a smart idealy to go they say it's a week and some days to really start liking your brows . The touch up makes them even better . Don't waste your money not going to the second appt .

I agree! They can always tweak any imperfections from the first round at your touch up appointment. Just wait it out a couple more weeks, go to your touch up appointment and I am sure you will love your new brows!

I love your brows and the color but yes the right brow is a tad thicker but not drastically. Hope you can get them to whefe you enjoy your new brows!

Go for your touch up because trust me, they will lighten and shrink a lot more! Wait six weeks, then go.

What do your brows look like now? I got mine done 5 days ago, looks very similar in color to yours. How much did they end up fading? I feel like mine are still so dark
I hope your beautician explained to you that the healing process can take up to 4 weeks and that during this time your new brows will go through a lot of changes. Initially they will always be darker than you want because she has to allow for pigment which will come off with the scabbing. After that, they will look much lighter, and then in the third phase the pigment which settled deep into the skin will surface. Only after that will you see what your true result is.
I presume your treatment includes a 4-week follow up? At this time if you still feel your brows are uneven your beautician should make the necessary corrections as part of the package.
I haven't had my brows done (yet) but I've had semi-permanent eyeliner done and this process is exactly the way it worked. You need a month to see the true result, so don't panic.
And put away that hydrogen peroxide bottle!!! Your new brows havent even healed yet so god alone knows what damage you might do and in any case it will lighten your hairs, but NOT the ink, and then you'll REALLY have something to worry about!
Be patient. Your brows look fab and after the 4 weeks I bet you'll love them.
I also noticed that she trimmed or cut a big portion of my eyebrows (not shave it which Im very thankful for) before the procedure and I am not sure if this is normal but I purchased some castor oil and hopefully I can grow my real eyebrows back in a few months :). You can still see my real eyebrows but not much on the tails. Staying positive!
