I'm 29 years old and have three kids under 5 all of whom were breastfed for 1 yr each. The last of which finished just this past September. I did a lot of research on doctors and went to four consultations but was very excited when I met dr restifo. He and his staff have been wonderful thus far. I love his before/afters and hope to be another one of his success stories. Im getting a lift with implants, but not sure on size yet. Hoping to get upper pole fullness with nice cleavage but not too much side boob. I have a narrow bwd of 11.7, so not sure If I should go HP or UHP. Nervous about the UHP though and them being too big. I have the 425cc HP sizers and like those but Dr Restifo is going to decide morning of surgery. I am currently an a/b cup and hoping to be at least a D cup after surgery. Really nervous about complications (capsular contracture, hematoma, etc) and just hoping everything goes smoothly. I have 12 days off and fingers crossed, that will be enough time to recover before having to go back to being a full time mom. Three more days :-) Will post before pics soon

Surgery postponed
sugarandspice5December 10, 2015
Ended up having asthma issues day before surgery so dr thought it would be best to postpone surgery. I understand and appreciate dr restifo being honest in having me wait so that I am more upto par. Just stinks cause my new date is 12/23. Not only is that date going to be difficult for my husband to get enough time off of work but also I will not be able to fully enjoy my daughters first real Christmas. Totally bumming but keeping my fingers and toes crossed that something opens up earlier. Dr restifo and his staff have still all been beyond wonderful :-)

Day 1 post op
sugarandspice5December 24, 2015
Finally had my surgery yesterday and All went well. Dr restifo and Amanda were wonderful. I ended up getting the 430 UHP along with a lift. Pain isn't as bad as I was expecting as long as I keep up on my pain meds and don't move. Going my first post op check Monday and I can't wait to see them ????. Hoping everything looks good and they came out beautiful.

I had my surgery (second one) yesterday too! Keep up on your pain meds and rest & Christmas morning you should be feeling a little bit better. How are you sleeping? That's the hardest part for me....
December 24, 2015
Sleeping hasn't been too terrible. I'm using the body pillow from when I was pregnant and that has helped a lot! My left side def hurts more then right. I can hear a swooshing sound or cracklings sound when I move even a little bit on my left side. How are you feeling? Do you mind me asking, why were you having a second surgery? I'm so worried about getting capsular contracture, hematoma or infection.

I've had to sleep on the recliner....I have a wedge pillow in my bed, but just can't seem to sleep comfortably there. The swooshing sound/feeling always creeps me out. My surgeon had a bit of a medical issue during my first procedure and couldn't finish. He had a pinched nerve and could no longer continue my surgery. So I went back in for the left side yesterday. I've snuck a little peek, but I think the left one is just as perfect as the right!! Can't wait to shower and see them. I try and stay calm and not worry about all of the 'what if's', they don't happen very often. Just rest, don't over due it, take all your antibiotics, and go to all your follow ups. I'm glad to have others going thru this with me....makes me feel more 'normal'.

I know exactly what you mean. I guess that swooshing sound is the water they out in to help move the implant around. My sr said it would take a few days to go away. That's exciting that you can see yours, can't wait to see mine and hoping I went big enough. In afraid of having too wide of a gap since I went with the UHP. I tried the recliner too but this body pillow is "U" shaped and works wonders. I hope you have a speedy recovery and sorry that happened to you.

I'm happy to hear everything went well! Hope all is good Monday at your checkup. I'm 6 weeks away from my surgery with Dr Restifo, it's almost surreal I'm finally doing this. The doubts and nerves creep in every so often & then I'll read a post that calms me and strengthens my decision to fix myself. So thank you!!!

I was nervous too but dr restifo is beyond wonderful! He even called on Christmas Day to check on me. The surgical center and staff was great as well. Congrats on making the decision on doing this for you!! You deserve it!
Good luck tomorrow! We'll be thinking of you. Please keep us posted when you feel up to it and let us know how you're doing.
