Two weeks out

I'm pretty sick of wearing my sports bra but only have two more weeks to go. My implants are still pretty high and firm. I can sleep on my side and have been able to for a couple days. I am defiantly stiff when I wake up. I have complete sensation even around the scar. I hate getting cold as my nipples are super sensitive. They ache all the time but are worse when I get cold and by the end of the day it's just about unbearable. Feels a lot like the first weeks of nursing when the nipples are raw.

Following your updates..your stats are close to mine and I'm scheduled for the end of Sept. Do you know cup size what you think you'll end up with?

Depends on the bra designer I would imagine but a full D. As my friend who also had implants said even though she looks like a C anatomically her bra measures a D/DD. Because the implant has a different texture (maybe not the right word but a bra holds it differently than natural breast tissue) she is a bigger cup size. Not sure if I'm explaining this clearly. I feel like I look like a solid C but may end up measuring a D.

Ok awesome. Thanks for the response. I know its still early and it always depends on the bra company...ugh lol researching this stuff is harder than i thought. I hope you continue to heal well and definitely interested in following your recovery and journey!

What cc's are you planning on? My bwd was 14.5 and 14.3. The 525 mod plus is going to give a nice side boob but not make me look too bulky or thick.

Right now 500..only because I'm also having a mastopexy so I'm nervous about going too big. I am hoping with my preop consult on the 11th she will think i can handle 500+. Honestly I don't even remember my measurements so I'm dying waiting for my meeting to figure out the last details

You look great for this early in the Post-op! The nipple issues faded out but got much better for me after a few weeks and once i was off the pain meds! Good luck and have a quick recovery xx

End of day 6

Maybe I didn't read reviews thouroghly enough or maybe I'm a big baby but I feel pretty crappy still. I was hoping to have a turn around day five and feel back to mostly normal by now. Instead I'm fatigued and in general running about a pain level of 2-3. I have never much liked wearing a bra and having to wear a sports bra 24/7 is a bit bothersome. I know that once the pain and discomfort fade I will be thrilled to have had this done. I love the changes I already see in the mirror but I miss picking up my kids. I am always super busy and productive and feel like a complete lazy person. Sorry for the complaining but the reality of any surgery is there is some down sides to it too.

I COMPLETELY identify with you xx sending post op hugs!! I had mine done august 23rd and I am feeling rough still. I'm still taking morphine for night times and feeling totally wiped out and useless the rest of the time. And I miss picking up my little one terribly :( But... I love my results. It's ok to feel how we feel. I think it's 'normal' :) xx

I slept like the dead last night and woke up very stiff. After about an hour of moving around I realized I actually felt better. This is the most I have felt like myself since my surgery. Of course I did way too much and went grocery shopping. Ice is the only thing that has eased the pain of overdoing it. All this aside I get my stitches out on Wednesday and feel like over he next few days I will feel better and better. Give it a few more days RLW007.

I'm off all meds except Tylenol as needed. My range of motion in my arms is back to about 85% with no discomfort. I'm only uncomfortable after I have been sitting still for a while or after I wake up. I'm still super tired. My biggest complaint is that my digestive system is a wreck. I feel utterly sick all the time and everything I have tried has not helped. I rarely take even Tylenol so I'm sure it is because I was on pain meds and Valium for 4 days. Blah! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
