I have always had asymmetry and big boobs growing up. I have a full cup size difference between my two--they look more like strangers than sisters on my body. Additionally, the smaller breast was mildly constricted (I now know its called tuberous breast deformity). I have never felt comfortable enough to wear bathing suits and have always had to stuff my bra on the L side. Recently I loss 60+ pounds which made even my R boob (that I used to love) become deflated and drop from a 34D/DD to a 32C (32D in VS) but saggy and empty. I've been considering surgery for years but there was always something more important that I wanted-- like buying a house, getting dogs, traveling et . However, when my 27th bday rolled around, I decided to take the plunge--my year end bonus was enough to cover the cost finally!
I had several consults that gave me a name for what was wrong with my little boobie--tuberous deformity. I decided to try to obtain my old size again. All the doctors were awesome during the consult but Dr. Restifo gave me the best vibe amd was very honest about my expectations. I also liked how he explained his approach. Moderate plus in the larger and high profile in the smaller. As well as addition techniques to correct the constricted tissue.
I was extremely worried about the whoke general anesthesia part of the procedure. However, everyone was very friendly and it went off without a hitch. Pain is tolerable not that bad amd no nausea currently.
I ended up 425cc mod+ on the R. And 550cc HP on the L. Both are mentor silicone. My BWD was 13 on the R and 11 on the L -- note he purposely went higher to address my condition.
Pics of pre-op included to show my sad pre-BA boobies. I found reviews to be super informative and comforting so decided to add mine. Hope it provides insight/helps others out.

Pain really isn't bad. Debating about taking tylenol instead of the Percocets... nice super long wrap, goes down below my skirt. Have to keep the wrap on for 3 days, post op appointment on Monday. I can't wait for the reveal!!!

Argh sooo much sitting! My butt hurts so much that i think I'll order one of those donut things. I'm not used to sitting much at all so this is completely abnormal. No pain except for an occasional burning sensation when I move positions--read that was the nerves wakening though will talk to my PS team. Down to 1 tylenol every 6 hrs now. Still on the valium and antibiotic.
Unfortunately I'm getting a ton of hiccups which are ridiculously painful. The valium stops these. Can't laugh either without pain...huge issue with my bf being around (he normally makes me laugh a ton)

Hi there!
So excited for you. The anticipation must be killing you. I have my pre-op with Dr. Restifo at the end of May for a mommy makeover. His work is amazing. I can't wait to see your results.

He's definitely a great doctor--his work speaks for itself. So I'm super hopeful everything will look great (I'm a more challenging case of course).
Have fun at the preop! The imager is super cool to see. I'll have to check on how you are doing afterwards (: I attribute a good deal of my lack of pain to his technique
