Hey everyone,
this site is so great and after reading all the positive results, it helped me with my procedures so I wanted to give my opinion to help others thinking about doing something. I am 41 years old and have fat bags since about 27-28 years old. So nearly 15 years of you "look tired" to "did you get hit in the eye". My sister had her under eye fat removed about 10 years ago and loved the results and always told me to do it.
Money was a BIG issue but I finally saved up enough and got the courage to do it. In hind site I wouldnt have waited so long. It wasn't that much money as just saving up 4-5 months and just being sick and tired of the " you look tired comments" plus I'm still single and wanted to still feel good about myself. I had two procedures done. Removed my lower fat under my eyes and juvaderm filler about 2 months after the 1st procedure.
The fat removal was huge but I still had indented lines or the circles under the eyes that bothered me and so when the filler was put in, it finally gave me the results I had wanted in the fat removal. The fat removal is permanent but the filler that was used, "Juvaderm" is temporary...about a year or so. But after seeing the Juvaderm filler results I'm sold. I feel good looking at my eyes now when I take off my glasses and don't feel self conscious about them any more. My confidence has been boosted big time. I have attached 2 pics. Before the fat removal and after was after the fat removal and filler. Let me know if you have any questions. The fat removal I had was the Tcb procedure where they cut inside the eye, and it leaves no scar on the outside but on the inside. I'd love to answer any questions. And would I do it again, HELL YES I WOULD!!!! :)

Looks good! Was you under local or general anesthesia? I'm having a hard time deciding which one. I'm really nervous being awake while having lower eyelid surgery.

Local only. My Doctor prefers it this way. :)
Don't be nervous. There was really no pain. Go for it!!!!

My Doctor only does local. He prefers it this way because he lays you down and lifts you back up so that he can look at gravity and how your eye looks plus being awake your eyes look different than when they are closed. So it makes sense when you think about it. The fat removal only took 45 mins when he actually started and the filler procedure is like 10-15 mins. Only bad part is the bruising but I did not have a lot with either procedure but there is some swelling but after 4-5 days it starts looking good. Plus nobody ever noticed from work or my friends. It looks natural and normal not stretched or like something obvious was done.

I'm in the LA County/Orange County area. My Doctor's location is in Newport Beach. What area are you in? If you're close, I can give you his number and name. I highly recommend him. :)

It was not painful at all. Kind of like going to the Dentist but less so...teeth can hurt...lol, this wasn't even that bad.

The initial visit is free. You schedule an appt and go over what you want and voice your wants/concerns.
Would you have been happy if you didn't get the fillers? I guess what I am asking is which one made the most difference - surgery or fillers?
