69 - Working in Public Arena - Need for a Refreshed Look - Orange, CA

Actually the title says it all...I am a Public Affairs Manager for the southern CA electric utility that serves the majority of the OC. I cover 9 cities and plan to work for at least 8 to 10 more years or more if health and mental capacity allow me to. I felt I needed to look more refreshed...jowls had started to sag making me look unhappy/unfriendly unless I was smiling, my neck was starting to look crepe, a noticeable double chin had started to show and I just didn't like it or me! Building relationships is what my career is all about and I am very good at it but when you don't feel good about the face you are putting out there then it is time to invest in it. Dr. Justin West was my breast cancer reconstruction surgeon, I had known his Dad Dr. John West for over 30 years (and he was my breast oncology surgeon)...I trusted Dr. Justin as I did his Dad Dr. John and was not disappointed with the breast reconstruction and can most certainly say I am not at all disappointed with the neck, face and brow lifts he and his wonderful partner Dr. Mark G. did for me on April 3, 2014. After just 2 weeks I looked really good, a little internal swelling but that is dissipating over time...I was going to appointments after just 18 days. Everyday the look gets better and better, can hardly wait for 3 months, then 6 months! One can always camouflage the body, but the face is right out there for everyone to look at and relate to...if you get up every morning as I did and pull up on the lower part of your face...believe me it is time to do something for you!
I will also share with you that so far no one has really noticed other than to say I look great but no one has sniffed around trying to see why I look good! Even a friend I have had since we were 23 years old, she spent about 5 hours with me one-on-one and never asked anything and believe me I am up front with this type of thing and would have answered her without hesitation if she had just indicated a little bit of curiosity...but she didn't!!! One of the admin's for our group, she is all of 24 or 25, was the only one who said she could really see a change and she thought I looked 15 years younger. The rest of my "work" family just told me they thought I looked refreshed and ready to keep on going for many more years!
I would want to encourage you to reach out to Dr. Justin...he is a warm, skillful, talented plastic surgeon...not bad to look at either ladies! I would only want to do this once in my lifetime but I can assure you I am delighted that I did do it!
