You are going to do just wonderful.  The pain is temporary and will come to an end.  The first week was the worst for me, but it honestly was not that back.  It was more super soreness and tight.  Keep on top of the pain meds and you will do well.

I'm so excited for you! I'm now one month out, and every time I think of this surgery and how grateful I am, I want to cry.

As for pain, I felt like id done 200 push-ups. So I felt more tight than anything. I was off my painkillers in 24 hours and then sometimes some Flexeril to help with muscle tightness. I was just more tired than anything. And HUNGRY. So. Very. Hungry.

hi I'm getting my reduction on August 27. I'm also s nervous wreck! What size bra were you before the surgery? And how much cc did they remove from each side?

You will do great i just had mine on Friday July 10 it's not as bad as I thought. Pain is tolerable and plus the dr gives you pain killers do that helps a lot. I stopped taking mine because they were making me to drowsy and nauseous so I'm sticking with ibuprofen now. I go today to the dr to change my bandages and I will ask how many cc's she took out, I was a 38DD, and now I even fit into an XS size shirt I can't believe that still I'm in shock

Good luck!! Just write everything down you want to know and ask away! I was most concerned with sensitivity and scarring and my doctor was very helpful with answering my questions.

It's completely normal to be anxious having surgery. Don't be hard on yourself and breast surgery is an emotional surgery. I would ask your surgeon if he will be sitting you up in the theatre so that he can check the asymmetry of your new breasts and nipple placement. My surgeon did this however I have read that done don't . Best of luck & happy healing. (I'm week 2 and it's uncomfortable but not terribly painful)

Awesome thanks for that I will ask that on Friday when they mark me up of where everything is going to be set lol I'm glad you are feeling better

You will do great, there nothing to worry about really, you fall asleep you wake up on the other side with lil tidies on your chest. I didn't feel pain little but if stinging bits off and on but pain meds take care of that, more tight swollen and sore, nothing unbearable at all, even the drains were easy removal, mine were stitched in not taped or glued, every Dr us different. Take two deep breaths and hold the third when they remove if you have drains.

Ok thanks for the advice on the drains.. Lol yea my pain is tolerable and I take the pain killers to be confortable and yes I feel the tightness in my chest I know it's only temporary thanks for your advice ☺️
