My drains were finally removed on day 7 however my doctor put me essentially on bed rest till Monday as he is concerned that my fluid output won't slow and does not want me to develop a seroma other than some soreness and random shooting pains (for the mothers out there the shooting pain is like what you felt when your milk came in) I'm doning pretty well I love my new boobies and will post more pictures once the bandages around the areola incisions come off

Today is post op day 5 and I've decided to talk about my drains.. Cause aside from being sleepy not much else has changed.
So I know my pictures probably look extra gory because I clearly have blood colored tubes coming out the sides of my breasts lol I want to reassure you though that they are there clearly in my best interest and they do not really hurt on the other side there is a minor discomfort at the point where they enter my body and the tape they use to hold them in place itches like crazy. The RN I saw yesterday informed me that to have these bad boys removed each breast has to be prodoucing under 30 ml of fluid so far, only my left breast has been able to do this so it looks like they won't be coming out till Friday. Most of the doctors that I've run across that use them use them in cases where both a lift and augmentation were needed and in my case where a lot of reshaping was done so please don't assume that just because you see someone with them you're going to wake up with them as well. ??
