Soo I'm scheduled for surgery with Dr. Justin west...

Soo I'm scheduled for surgery with Dr. Justin west on July 14th (pending gi clearance.) the plan is to do a donut lift as well as 375-400 cc; I was nervous at first about the lift that dr. West has chosen but I met with him yesterday and feel a lot better about the procedure I just feel like he really knows his tatas lol he said that unfourtanately 25 percent of the time this procedure requires a minor revision of the nipple but that's something that is done in office for no charge he also uses sizers to help guarantee that the look that we've discussed is what I end up with. I'm Sooo excited for my surgery with Dr. West

Before pictures

Here are some before photos I am currently about a 36 c but don't feel that I fill a bra the way I hope to

Forgot to mention

Dr west and I have decided to do a benelli or donut lift as he feels that any other lift will further narrow my breast and will not provide a pretty result he stated that sometimes when doing this lift the nipples can appear to have different shapes but this is something that can be fixed in office after surgery and that he strives to keep patients from having to go to the or more than once.. I'm nervous but after hearing his explanation for why he thinks this lift is best suited for me I have to say I agree it makes sense and I completely trust him!

9 days till surgery

Finally got the clearance from my gi Doctor to go through with surgery it feels so real now I'm going for pre op testing today and dropping off my prescriptions I'm starting to feel a little nervous I hate anesthesia

T minus 1 day

Tomorrow is the day of my surgery and I must say I'm starting to get a little nervous! I'm trying to get everything prepared and am blessed that I'll have my parents to help with my little ones for the next 5 days (husband is currently deployed) the only thing I haven't purchased is a new sports bra as my providers office said they supply one.. I'll try to do an update tomorrow after surgery pending on how I'm doing....

Ahhhhh I'm out

I did it! It's done lol the pain isn't as bad as I thought it would be just get it just feels heavy and achy luckily Dr. West provided a muscle relaxer which all the nurses were saying would work better than the pain meds so I just took one of those.
He ended up doing 480ccs which is a little bigger than what we talked about but I trust him and am sure I will love them. I go in. For my first post op tomorrow morning and I'll finally be able to see them! He did say I had a lot of fluid so I currently have drains???????? I've read it can help to prevent cc though so I'll deal with it.

Post op apt 1

Just finished my post op apt and it went so well! I love the new additions. I do have to keep the drains in till Monday but so far so good hopefully i continue to be happy with the results

Day 2 post op

Today has been a little better still in a good amount of pain so using my pain medication as prescribed. I feel like my drainage might be slowing down a little I have hopes of getting them out on Monday. I was able to take a quick shower today thank goodness for my mother washing my legs and back for me lol I don't know what I'd do without her! I changed into a champion c9 sports bra today I bought the xl which is much more comfortable than the surgical bra the doctors office provided and I feel like it goes down onto my abdomen more. Other than that just taking it easy.

Sports bras

Just in case any ladies were wondering I went to target and bought two xl champion c9 sports bras with front closure (target offers sizing charts for this product online) and they are extremely comfortable even with my drains plus they cost a fraction of most of the post op bras you find definitely worth it!

Post op day 3 picture

In much less pain today feeling more like myself extremely anxious for my apt tomorrow to hopefully get these drains removed!

Post op day 4 apt 2

In much less pain today then I have been and the drainage is finally starting to slow down. I went in to the office today and met with the RN in hopes of having the drains removed unfourtanately they were not ready to come out. She said that over all I look like I'm healing really well and I am scheduled on Friday to go back and see dr west to have bandages removed so she said that at that time they will remove the drains as well. Come on Friday lol

Ohh drains

Today is post op day 5 and I've decided to talk about my drains.. Cause aside from being sleepy not much else has changed.
So I know my pictures probably look extra gory because I clearly have blood colored tubes coming out the sides of my breasts lol I want to reassure you though that they are there clearly in my best interest and they do not really hurt on the other side there is a minor discomfort at the point where they enter my body and the tape they use to hold them in place itches like crazy. The RN I saw yesterday informed me that to have these bad boys removed each breast has to be prodoucing under 30 ml of fluid so far, only my left breast has been able to do this so it looks like they won't be coming out till Friday. Most of the doctors that I've run across that use them use them in cases where both a lift and augmentation were needed and in my case where a lot of reshaping was done so please don't assume that just because you see someone with them you're going to wake up with them as well. ??

Day 10 post op

My drains were finally removed on day 7 however my doctor put me essentially on bed rest till Monday as he is concerned that my fluid output won't slow and does not want me to develop a seroma other than some soreness and random shooting pains (for the mothers out there the shooting pain is like what you felt when your milk came in) I'm doning pretty well I love my new boobies and will post more pictures once the bandages around the areola incisions come off

Po day 11

Bandages completely off minimal puckering small nipples excited to see how they progress
Newport Beach Plastic Surgeon

I had surgery with dr west this morning and must say I have never felt better cared for while in a medical facility! I was a little nervous about going under but they made sure to make me feel comfortable! It was such a good experience and I can't wait to see my additions tomorro
