My tattoo is almost done with the shedding process and the lines are fading alot!! :) I cant wait to see what is going to look like in 3 months after the 3 months I'm beginning the removal. On a bad note my soon to be husband is not supportive at all, he tells me hes not giving me a penny (ive been a stay at home mom since my son was born) anyways little does he now I had been saving
before I became a stay at home mom yay!! He has tattoos and he loves them so he doesn't understand how I'm feeling, so glad I found this site.

sorry you are feeling so badly! Try and enjoy your little one- he for one, doesn't care about your ink!! Remember, one day this will be a memory- just hang in there! Your tattoo is very removable- being black ink, but it will take time and patience!! Good luck:)

It should be much easier to remove if it's an amateur tattoo. :-) It's an awful feeling when you realise you don't like your tattoo, but things could be a lot worse. Do some research on laser removal and have a look at the clinics near you. It does get easier, honest! We're all here for you if you have any questions or need some support.

Fortunately there are websites like RealSelf where you CAN share your feelings. Don't be too hard on yourself, you're in the early stages of regret and you will feel better. It's on your back where nobody has to see it. Mine is on my arm so I have to wear long sleeves, even in the summer. Once you've had your first treatment you'll be well on your way to seeing it disappear!

Hey there, I am so glad you found us :) We all can relate and I hope you find some comfort here. Don't be so hard on yourself, it happens. You gave the artist a beautiful sketch, you had no control of the outcome, it is not your fault. I spent months feeling that way...in the end it is what it is. You may not think this now but the regret does get easier to manage and you will move on. Come on here any time you need you will be greatly supported by this wonderful community!
It's tough to get your thoughts off of something that is really bothering you, especially something like a tattoo. I assure you that you will find a way. Just think of your family, your baby, and be thankful for having them in your life, your tattoo is just a minor issue even though it doesn't feel that way right now. I remember going to a coffee shop and I was still in my deep regret stage, there was a young man (early 20's) in a wheelchair and all I could think about after I saw him was I would keep my tattoo if he could walk again. I suddenly realized that it's just a tattoo. (keep in mind you will go through healing stages..up and down) I am not trying to minimize your feelings by any means, as I (we) all understand them, we just want to help you move forward. When you are feeling down remember the good things in your life. Deep breaths when you need them and positive thoughts go a long way, hang in there!
Glad to hear it TrueBlush!!
