Stomach is still very hard. I'm working out more, no leg lifts yet. Feeling stronger. Still worried about over developing my muscles above bb and bulging. I not sure if I'm happy about the whole thing. Time will tell. Using bio oil on incision, healing well. Being back at work and the gym helps with my depression. Take care all

After picture of mini tt eight weeks post op
Getting used to my flat stomach and belly button position. Perhaps perfection is unrealistic. Oh well moving on, will look at redo in a year, tummy should relax a bit more for a better idea if needed. Some days I luv it, some r filled with regret.

At two months later, is there still any pain? Do you still wear a any compression garments?
no pain at 2 months, just tight. I'm still scared to sneeze or cough. I did my first spin class and some weights. Took it easy on the core work, I can feel the muscles working. Yes I wear my garment during the day and some nights. I bought a different one for my workouts as my garment is from my thigh to ribs. I'm really tight first thing in the morning or when sitting to standing. PS says to wear it for 3 months. i hope that helps.
Yes, it does. I know what you mean about sneezing or coughing, yikes!
Take care!
Take care!
One more question, how long before you could stand up straight?
Around 3 weeks, It still takes me a few steps to get straight early in the morning because of the tightness. I think I'm a slow healer,,, age thing? Scared of pulling something.
I forgot to mention that I did have muscle repair on the lower abs as well.
I had suggested to my doctor that telling patients that are having tummy tucks for get a walking cane. It really hurt my back walking hunched over. Thanks for all your info. It's been quite helpful.
Can you do a bb revision?
Not sure, it seems to be getting better or maybe I'm just used it. Have to wait a year as I'm only 2 months post op. Luv the strong muscles. I don't think I could do the surgery again yuk.
Your stomach looks a lot flatter than mine. Mine still bulges out above and below the belly button. I think it looks great. I do understand the concern for the position of the belly button. Mine is a little lower also but the scar is also lower. You do look very flat though. Are you wearing bikinis?
Thanks, stomach is still very hard, doesn't feel normal yet, but yes I have tried several bikinis, won't wear them in public yet. I look at my before pics and I do have a low bb and small, I guess I always looked at the fat and once it was gone, that is me. Just needs to soften up. Thanks for the positive feedback.
Do you have any before pics? I also had a mini and I am happy with it because it looks natural (unlike a super pulled stomach from a full TT) But somedays I wish for all the pain I went through I did have the super pulled stomach.
Hi. I added a before pic and update
I think you look amazing!
You could run in just a sports bra and look like you are better in shape than any 20 year olds! I really think you look awesome!!!

I am 5 10, 126 lbs just wanted to remove tissue below belly button and above c section scar. He pulled my bb to low it wasn't floated so hoping it will go back a bit. Wish I had a full so the bb would have remained in the same place. My research said bb doesn't move in a mini. WRONG plus I'm worried that the fat will go above bb. DONT GET A MINI TT

Thank you for joining and sharing.
I am getting a mini in October. My PS said that getting a full required floating the belly button. My problem is I don't have enough loose skin to pull down the old belly button hole and cut it out. I would end up with an inverted T scar and you could see scaring from pulling the BB hole closed. I would rather my belly button move lower than end up with a scar going up the middle of my belly with the old BB hole scar showing too. I think you look great!! I never would look at you and think your BB looks too low.
thanks. if your bb is going to be floated, i would discuss a muscle repair above bb as well. just make sure your incision isn't to high and bb is too low. just tell your ps your concern. i wish i found this site prior to, i would have asked the right questions. i wish you the best.
Thanks. Been wanting to get this done for a few years now and finally everything has come together. In planning I've been so excited and now I am getting scared. I guess that's normal.
Hi ️Im going To hAve a mini tt ️in November , feeling nervous and hoping my tummy looks Good after having my twins i was Left With a big pouch :( my muscles Are All opened Up too , can you tell me What do you mean By bb float ? My DR Said he was going To do that but didn't tell me he will locate my bb lower ? Now ️i feel a little insecure about it
If he is doing a float make sure it is located where u want your bb to go. From what I read a full tt is a better option for most. Make sure u ask for a low scar and know how long it will be. Good luck
Are u going to.gwt a revistion?
not sure i can. will have to wait a year. stomach is still really tight. plus i don't want to go through more surgery or cost.
