Best decision of my life. Went from around a -4 in both eyes, astigmatism in one eye, to even better vision than when I had glasses. Surgeon was absolutely calming and answered all my questions. Quick healing process, quick surgery (seriously felt like ten minutes), pretty painless. Would recommend! TO BE CONTINUED.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

Our community members especially love seeing photos from before, during, and after — a realistic look at what they can expect. Photos grab the attention of the community and encourage more support for you.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

It is totally irresponsible for you to recommend this type of MAJOR surgury to anyone. I say MAJOR, because it is our most vital sense - our eyesight. What if the person that takes your silly advice has complications (which are COMMON). Complications are close to 20% - not 1%, as the industry wants you to believe. Just because you think it turned out good for you, does not mean that you won't develop early cataracts or post-LASIK ectasia (also COMMON outcomes). Think about it and try to be a little more socially responsible. It's not like getting a manicure. It is EYE surgury - and it is a terribly flawed procedure. Best wishes.

Well obviously anyone thinking about getting it done would have talked to a doctor before the process and see if it's the right surgery for them. This is a surgery website, people who are looking on this site are looking to get the procedure done. I did much research into it and as you can see on the site, 93% of people have said it is worth it. You cannot go blind and it has been practiced for many years.

Hi there! Do you mind sharing how your eyes are doing now? I also had my surgery in July 2015 with a prescription almost identical to yours. For me though, my vision began to regress after just 4 weeks.
