Boob Butter and more...
WORTH IT
I'm about 5 weeks post, and up until now I have been using bio oil and vitamin e on my war torn boobs to help them recover. I have been preparing and researching natural ingredients to support skin cell rejuvenation, elasticity, firming, and scar care. I have been using my scar care cream for about a week, and yesterday I made 4 jars of the basic recipe that I will turn into my homemade whipped boob butter. Today I will add further ingredients to make one jar a lighter day cream, and another jar into a super rich night cream. I will be starting this immediately now that I am almost 6 weeks post.
For those who are interested, the ingredients in this basic cream are: shea, cocoa butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, sesame seed oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin e oil, witch hazel, rose water(made with distilled water and rose essential oil), lanolin, glycerine, lanolin, and natural vanilla extract. Full of delicious healthy goodness to feed the little things. I'm not expecting a miracle, just pampering them with skin food so they have the best chance to be their natural best.
I was the head cosmetologist at a major drug store chain for years, and know what's in products, and what they cost. I also have a daughter with serious skin issues from an immune disorder, and have been treating her condition with topical creams for healing because all the steroid creams were not helping her, just hurting her if anything. Out of frustration, we started getting into medicinal creams. It has been hugely beneficial to her as they are all natural, and work better than the creams doctors prescribed, without the harsh chemical and negative side effects. Plus, it has been great fun, and they are great to make as gifts!
After this, I'll be making a boob massage oil, toner, and mask. Ha Ha ha...
Have a good day ladies, and if anyone wants a recipe, just send me an email..
Hugs to all!

Photos from week 4
At the time of this photo (week four) I had lost 5 lbs after surgery.
I am just shy of 5 weeks post explant now and have lost another 2 pounds despite my best attempts to get my IBS to settle down. The anesthetic sent it for a loop for two weeks, and there has been mega stress with my daughters illness which sends my adrenaline into over-drive, and triggers the IBS.
When I gain that 7 pounds back I am sure it could only help the boobs. So, we'll see.
Either way, I'm thrilled!
The pain is subsiding from those nasty things, and the incisions are healing really great with the exception of where the drain was on my left side, is just a smidge behind.
They are firming up for the little saggies they are...and I love being small!
Hugs to all!

You look fantastic!! Yay! Glad your happy :))
Thanks doll! I am very happy with how the explant went and how I'm feeling. How have you been lately? You haven't updated lately. :(
You look great. Hope your tummy settles soon, I can relate I have IBD and worry how surgery time will go :(
Thanks Nicole! In that case you might want to have all your meals planned around a rough patch with the IBD. I planned meals ahead, but didn't anticipate the IBS getting like that. I was happy to have some homemade chicken soup in the freezer, I'll tell you that much! :)
You look beautiful! I'm sorry to hear about your IBS and difficulties with your daughters illness. 3 out of 4 of my children have medical issues, muscular disease, aspergers and type 1 diabetes. I know how overwhelming it can be. On tough days I tell myself to keep it simple and just do the next right thing. Big hugs back at ya! : )
Thanks lamenough! Wow, you have your hands full too. It CAN be so overwhelming at times, but you are so right about keeping it simple, and one foot in front of the other. I love the way you put that..."and just do the next right thing". Just love it! I know its scary as the time draws nearer, but you know your doing the right thing for you. Will be watching for your progress! xoxoxo :)
Loved what you said about the PS - mine said the same - you're not going to like them - we'll try this and then you'll probably want to get some more - NOT SO. I just want them out and I have 2 more days 'til surgery!! Thanks for sharing - you look great! It gives us all encouragement that we'll get through this. I've had mine 12 years and that's really 12 years too long - can't go back and change time - just need to move further and be natural, healthy & happy. Thank God for all of you.
Thanks tiny! :) Glad you are so ready, its a great feeling isn't it? Your only gonna feel more relieved in 2 short days. Prepare for a shock, and know it will improve, and take great care in your recovery! Your ready girl! Good luck, and we'll be thinking of you! xoxox
You will be so happy when they are out! I'm 3 weeks post explant and so happy!
Thank you for the encouraging words! I really am so excited & I think I'm prepared for what they're going to look like. It's so great knowing you & so many others have been through the same!
Yes it really is a great feeling and I'm confident it's going to feel even greater this Wednesday! Thanks for the honesty and support!
You look great! I'll be at the 4 weeks post this Thursday and I'll post a picture but I'm a little smaller than you I think. We both need to gain weight, maybe I should stock up on the ice cream! I just think you look perfectly proportioned! :))
Thanks Soon! Can't wait to see your progress pictures this week. And hear what your PS has to say. I see mine next Monday. Are you still losing weight too? Good idea, I'm adding ice cream to my grocery list! Chocolate mint chip here I come!!! I think I'm more in proportion too instead of the implants, and no hard heavy boulders in the way and causing pain. Just so happy I did this!!!!

Your scars don't look bad at all! You look so much better now that they are out! Can't believe its only been 17 days!
Thanks waterbags! I feel so much better with them out! You must be getting so excited now, your turn isn't far away. I am excited for you! Glad you got a laugh today out of my little rant, :) xoxox
Wow you look great!!! I'm so glad your doing well :)
Thanks hhprnails, so are you! :))) I am glad for both of us. Have you been putting anything on them? I have been using bio oil twice a day, I think its helped, not sure, but going to keep using it for another couple of weeks till I can slather them is other stuff, lol.
Yes I love the bio oil! Weird thing happened to me when I went to my PS on Monday she put antibiotic ointment on my incision I put some more on later and the next morning my incisions and nipples were blistered ! She told me it was most likely the cream and that it's a common problem, so a allergic reaction I guess? I'm better now!! Are you wearing real tight sport bras still?
I need to know how tight is tight. Do you mean totally flat!!
Now there is a question that plagues me every freakin day too. Tight enough that things aren't moving, but not cutting of circulation. Its a fine line. Some of mine have to be so tight around my ribcage to get the tightness across the breast, it hurts after six hours on the rib cage, so I switch to a different one. It makes me look like I'm 11. The I have another that has some stitching to form a breast shape sorta, not as tight but I wear it when I go out for a bit, looks like I have 2 mounds.
Hi Littlehugger !! Besides you look great, your scars are barley noticiable !! yay !! So glad you´re feeling much better and happy.
Thanks Mozza! I'm pretty happy with the healing so far. But wondering when I should start massaging a little. Did you massage? And when did you start?
What exactly is the massage for? Does it break down scar tissue?
Yes, it's supposed to. And pushing down and massage on scars help if they are bumpy helps to flatten them, the scar has to be good and closed, like six weeks or so, I think. I just don't know when it's good to start massaging the breast tissue.
You're looking great! And I think the incisions, especially the one on the right. But the leftie will come along good too I'm sure and look just the same. I'm starting to feel a better when I don't have a bra on to take a shower. I got the stitches out and they're a little sore. Mine were around the areola where he put them in in 2009. What kind of sports bra are you wearing?
Hi Soon2be, the scars are coming along nicely, sorta both tender yet numb in different spots. Me too am a little better with a bra, think they just get ting used to. The first couple of weeks they felt like they might fall right off my body without support, lol, like...sliding, sliding, sliding... Gone! ;) I'm not wearing any particular brands, just whatever I could find at Walmart. A few different styles of straight jacket styles. Damn they are tight! :/
Thanks hugger, just what I needed to know...."tight". I have to ask my doc if the reason for that is so that the space left from the implant heals together right. That is right isn't it?
Yes, exactly right! And to make sure there is no hanging going on. I also put the thing on, then lay down and make sure the nipples aren't folded over and everything is centered well. I take it off a few times a day (3 total) put on the bio oil each time too. Its a pain in the ass!
OK, great! Thank you so much for the advice, believe me I'll follow it to the letter. Nips too!
Lol, k! Hugs you! When are you gonna post some more photos? You were already lookin really good at day. I wish mine would stay the way they look when they are cold! Maybe if I keep the air conditioning on full rip they would stay tight, lol, or shove an ice pack somewhere, lmao
I'm waiting till they change a little, for the good I hope. They're still about the same in fact I think they looked better before. My nips just look kind of beat up since she took out the stitches and I'm not happy with them. Plus, they have shrunk up so much compared to when the implants were in. Not too long and I will, probably after I see the PS which is coming up on the 20th. And hey, does the cold help?? Maybe that's it, it's been in the 100's here for over a week or so.
Well Soon2B, thanks for posting, because I think we are in the same boat. Mine, if anything seemed to have lessened in size (might have been local swelling at first?). I though they are supposed to fluff? Ugm, no fluffing here that's for sure. The breast tissue seems a little firmer, but settles at the bottom half donut shape. They are fine pasted to my chest in a bra, but when you take it off...they fall slowly over five minutes once they acclimatize to the room temperature and succumb to the force of gravity. Cold helps for sure! They shrivel up, the skin tightens, and they look 10 times better. Lets move to the Arctic, lol. My nipples face the sky almost when the temperature hits them, and they are not round, they are more like the oval office! Right there with ya sista! My incision was under the breasts, was your areolar?
Yep, mine are areolar. That's where he put them in so that's where they came out. Now, I am waiting for them to look more normal. I asked the nurse when she took (most of them anyway) the stitches out last week if I should put an antibiotic ointment on them and she said no, have you been told to start massaging them? I haven't seen my doctor yet and forgot to ask, but I would rather talk to him anyway than the nurse.
K, I wont put antibiotic ointment on anymore. Thanks for that info! No, I haven't started to massage yet, but am wondering when to. I explained in another post to you my doctor is less than informative about 3 minutes ago....
I just read it, well mine (who I paid $2200) wasn't either. But I have a bunch of questions when I see him on the 20th. Actually, I may call tomorrow but I don't think a whole lot of the nurse who took my stitches out, I found some myself later that she missed.
I'd be squeezing info out of him then if I paid $2200, for sure! :(
Right?! and also I meant to tell you how great you look, I can't even hardly the see the one scar and the other just barely! What you're using is working great!
Thanks Soon! The surgeon did do a good job on the incision, but that's about all I can say that was good about him. Let me know what you find out at you ps office if you decide to call today. I'm going to head to Target this morning to see what I can find there bra wise. And I did some research on creams last night! I refuse to invest $ in creams that don't work and cost a fortune. I'll write you more on that this afternoon when I get back home. :)
You look so amazing! Your incisions are already almost invisible! I was sensitive for a good 8-10 weeks after explant. I think it takes a lot longer to heal than we think it does. Isn't it kinda creepy how they can get those implants into and out of incisions that small? I know you are obviously still tender from the op, but do you feel that the some of the pain the implants were causing has gone/ lessened? I can't believe how many of you ladies have dealt with years of pain or discomfort from the bags. I find it somewhat shameful that this apparently common problem isn't common knowledge. Btw, I asked hubby if he would consider a ball lift and his answer was "what the hell for?!" Exactly!
Hi NervousGirlie! It's good to know the tenderness is normal at this stage, thanks for confirming that for me. And it's totally creepy what happens in surgery, lol. The pain of the implants is almost totally gone. Most of it went immediately, but what pain was still around is slowly getting better day by day. And your right, I was warned about complications but never told that they can be terribly uncomfortable or cause pain in some places. But they obviously do in some cases with so many complaining of pain. Ha ha ha about your hubby's answer to a ball lift! Just for fun...Ask him if he would like you to pick up some ball wipes next time you go out, lol, see what he says. Tell him what the commercials tell women, lol, that they will make him feel fresh and more confident, lol. Dying to hear his response. :)))
Ha! My hubby is a big fan of those wet wipes for adults. He says they're much better than regular TP and he does use them to 'freshen up' throughout the day (TMI?)- so you might actually have a market for your ball wipes! :-D I would love to see a commercial of men riding on horses along the beach talking about how fresh they feel with their sanitized, deodorized bits! Ain't it a shame how much we are taught to be ashamed of our bodies? Grrr...
LOL!!! Extra strength ball fresheners----!!!
I'm heading out of town tomorrow to visit my husband who has been away with his job. Of course we will talk about the explant so I am going to ask him in a very normal tone of voice if he's ever thought about having a ball lift! Ha Ha Ha I can't wait! He'll prob say" What the f*** is a ball lift"?
And they could come in different scents...like 'woodsy fresh for your woody' for those outdoorsy types...or 'slam dunk that ball funk' for those sporty guys...'fruity fresh for your roll up' for your younger age group. What about flavours like 'banana bag' and 'strawberry sac' to beat your smelly meat? OMG I could get kicked off this site I think.....lol
It is a damn shame how we are taught to be ashamed. And let that commercial begin with..."Are you tired of attracting flies instead of women? Wouldn't you like to feel fresh and confident, instead of smell like a sneaker?"......
Oh please please tell me what he says to that, lol ! Enjoy your weekend hon! Would love to be a fly on the wall when you casually bring up that ball lift! ;)
They would also need to come up with one for 'sensitive skin!' Although, about those 'flavors': I think if men's junk started smelling like strawberries and bananas, it might put me off fruit! lol.
waterbags- I bet your hubby will check out his 'sag' factor privately once you mention a ball lift!
My husband is a contractor and he just left for work. One of his projects is in Palm Springs where the temp is in the 100s. With ZERO prompting from me he said "I am so sick of working out in that heat. My balls are sweaty 90% of the day and I can't f*in stand it!" I almost peed my pants from laughter and he couldn't understand how I thought his statement was that funny! I would love to see packaging ideas for ball wipes!
Sounds like he needs a masculine napkin, ha ha ha
Yep, you've found a way to keep them fresh, now you need to work on how to keep them dry. :-D I think 'little hugger's masculine hygiene products' has a nice ring to it....although on second thought, 'little' might not be a term that men want associated with that area. :-P
Okay... Good idea! 'Smensitive for Tender Testes' might work. Gotta work on other scents, rather than flavours. Maybe 'Lilac Love Lumps' or 'Old Spice for your Old Dice' or 'Speed Stick for your Meat Stick' ?
Lmao, me too, poor guy!
Haha you ladies are hilarious :oD I'm now thinking of all the different flavours that could be used!! Even a spritz spray to cool the sacks down! Oh, god, I'm now checking hubby out. Seeing if gravity has taken its toll. I always wondered if the whole package got in the way! I think it would annoy me, having something there dangling around! :oD x
Lol, I'm just entertaining the hell outta my self here! A whole skin care line, like Little Huggers smensations for Big Bugger, including a full line of spritzes, powders, masculine napkins, wipes, and for the thrill seekers out there... Dermabrasion!
Hahaha @ Little Huggers Smensations for Big Buggers! Good one! I'll get my thinking cap on lol x
Little Huggers Tantalising Suds for your Love Spuds! ;o) x
LMAO!! "Smensations is missing an "e"! ;-) Listen, if you really want the general public to embrace these products, you will have to come up with a sexier name (like those stinky Axe body sprays) ! Fem hygiene products are 'romantic', think Morning Meadow or Summer Rain. Although I would LOVE to see "Old Spice for Old Dice" in the bathroom cabinet!! Don't forget to include a "plumper," like those lipglosses that sting like hell and cause enough irritation that your lips look fuller. #1 bestseller in the line, guaranteed!
Ha ha, rj! I'm gonna check my hubby, too! It seems they do annoy men- that's why they are constantly (constantly!!) arranging themselves! I know my man hates boxers because they let stuff flop around!
I love it! Definitely need a plumper! Maybe a sac scrub too, and something for hair removal too, like "No More Hair Balls". There is not a man in the world who would go through a cash register with any of these product names, but women would, and we could fill their stockings at Christmas., and blame it on Santa.
Good one! lol...Love Spuds!
Haha my hubby wears boxers for the breeze he says! Maybe he prefers the flop! I was bored in the last week of pregnancy so I replaced some of the buttons on his boxers. I only had red love heart ones! :oD One was a googley eye! So, I placed them right in the middle! They've been relegated to our memory box now! Think it may have effected his masculinity if worn. Bless. Here, just had a thought for your hubby and Palm Springs...a scottish kilt! The true scottish way too...go comando! Plenty of air for him, although no support so flopping could occur! x
No More Hair Balls- perfect!! But I worry that someone might accidentally give it to their pet. :-/ lol. Littlehugger, you are a little TOO good at this- why do I get the feeling this isn't the first time you've played this game? ;-)
Wow, rj, you MUST have been bred to be sewing boxers with heart buttons! lol. The construction business over here has a heavy percentage of Latinos. They are VERY macho, and anything that might be read as even slightly feminine would be a reason for merciless torment! If my hubby wore a 'skirt,' I don't think they would EVER take him seriously again! But, yes, his balls would be nice and dry! xx
