It's been a while since I have updated and that's mainly because things are going pretty well. Physically I am feeling good and I am pretty much back to my regular routine and activities. I haven't been back to the gym yet but I plan to start this week. I love how my breasts are turning out. I like the size and they are softening nicely and I think they look good. I'm pleased with them. I'm still really bummed about my tummy tuck scar, in comparison to others I have seen, it's just so high and I was really hoping for it to be lower. My belly button also still looks strange. I thought maybe in the beginning it was just swelling bit there is no change. The only reason I even had the tummy tuck done was to feel confident in a bikini and the scar is so discouraging. It is flattening out and I'm trying to be hopeful that in time it will be a white line. Anyway I'm still not sure the tummy tuck part of this was really the best decision.

So I have been feeling physically pretty good this week and actually made it through the whole week at work. Sleeping is getting more and more comfortable. I bought a big body pillow and am able to get very comfortable on my side now to sleep. I am also standing straight. I still feel tightness on my stomach but I expect that to continue for a while.
My breast are starting to soften a bit and I'm massaging them twice a day to help with that. My incisions look great and my stitches came out two days ago.
For my tummy while I'm happy about the loose skin that's gone, the location of my scar still has me really bummed out because it's so high and just looks so rough looking. I attached a picture from today in the highest pair of panties I own. My belly button also looks weird to me and not like any after belly button I've seen. I've also had an innie belly button, not an outie. In incision scar is still really lumpy. I'm hoping that it will smooth out over time. The clinic gave me some scar gel which I'm applying twice a day. Trying to be patient for healing results.

Did you ask why they made the cut so high? You look great. Everyday will get better!

No bruising, looks like you are healing well!! I just had a cry fest with the doc about my incision and how ugly it looks. He keeps telling me to wait 3-6 months and if there is still a problem then a scar revision is no big deal :( it does feel like a big deal to me. But I guess it is just a waiting game until then.

Oh yeah, you had asked if my boobs are feeling soft. I think so. They are squishy. I imagine they will get even more so but they are definitely not hard. Before my boobs were like bags of skin so these do feel firm in comparison, but not hard.

I've been back to work now for two days. I work in an office and mostly sit at a desk or am in meetings so it has been going okay. The hardest part is that it's so hard to get comfortable and get a good night sleep so I'm sooo tired. But I am feeling pretty good during the day for the most part. I've been very emotional about this process over the last couple days. Thats been hard too. A lot of ups and downs. I keep telling myself it's only been 12 days, to be patient and let myself heal and get stronger. Hope you are all doing better each day.

You are doing great. But I know it doesn't feel like that sometimes. From the looks of your healing, you will have an almost invisible result. It's the emotional part that is hard to prepare for. I bet as you get back into a schedule of work and life that sleep will come again. I can just now start spending a little time sleeping on my side, which is usually how I slept. Has been a big relief from the almost constant back pain. Hang in there!
