It was the lidocaine!
After what happened last time, I put off doing sculptra again for awhile. But one year later, the results had faded, so I decided to do it again, but WITHOUT lidocaine mixed in with the sculptra. I had absolutely no headache after it. I was so relieved! And it didn't hurt that much more than doing it without the lidocaine. I did get a bruise on one cheek, but 1 week later it is mostly gone.
Frequent migraines are gone!
The frequent migraines lasted for 7 weeks. I tried gua sha facial scraping suggested by another real selfer and it seemed to help them become less frequent again.
And, I am noticing an increase in volume in my upper cheeks. I am so happy I did this and I will be doing it again. I am suspicious that it may have been the lidocaine in the Sculptra that gave me the bad migraine, so I am going to ask him if I can go without it next time. My temples are still badly sunken in, so I am going to see if he will inject more there than he did last time.

2 weeks later
I haven't had a bad migraine since the one right after the Sculptra, but I am having them more frequently, about 4-5 days per week. But like always, I'm sure it's a temporary phase, and migraines I've dealt with most of my life, but fat loss...,it affects me physically, mentally and emotionally. My swelling has gone down and my deflated face is back. I'm feeling like I am going to have more Sculptra, even with what happened last time.
I named the title of my review the way I did in case the migraine happens to someone else after Sculptra, they can see that they aren't the only one. I saw a forum on here with people that had the same thing happen to them with other fillers, so I think it can just happen to some people.
