I shaved three moles off yesterday and I would like to share my experience before I forgot the details! I'm 29 years old and had three moles from childhood, and shaved them off by local anesthesia in less than 1 minute! The most painful part was the needles, as I have fear of needles. I'm still waiting the wound to heal and to see results after 1-2 weeks!

I was wondering after shaving the moles did that leave scars ??!!
For me I still have a small scar, but much better than the moles. My dermatologist said that bcs my moles are dark brown, they may leave a scar. It's around 2.5 weeks since I removed them and I'm still wAiting to see if the scars will heal!

I have just had moles shaved off my face neck and back. I went under anaesthetic. I still have the dressings on. One off the dressings on my face has come off after 4 days. I am not sure what to put on it if I should use cotton wool and tape like they used or if I should just use tape. I am worried that the cotton wool will stick to the wound and cause it to pull the healing skin and scare more.. any suggestions would be great.

Hi Lee, in my case, they just used a tiny tape on wuond, and I removed it at the 1st day! ( they said I can do that ). the first week was a little challenging for me, and I was also confused what I have to do!, I just try to keep the wuond moist and get away from sun while the wuond was open. I still have a small scar left, my dermatologist told me that it might leave the scar because my moles are very dark but I'm satisfied with results anyway :)

This week so far has definitely been challenging for me. Expecially the 5 I had removed on my face. It's only day 5 for me. Looking forward to Thursday..
Iam glad you are satisfied with your results. The plastic surgeon did say to me that there is a possibility of a small scare. I suppose that is better than the mole. If another bandage falls off I will leave it off now. Iam sure I will be happy with the results too :)

Hi it's day 3 of my mole removal and it's still very red and yet looking is this normal did you experience anything like this? Please lemme know if you can thanks Emily
Hi, mine was also red at the beginning days( like a wuond that is healing), I think it will look better in one week . My doctor said that it will heal well in around 2 weeks, but it may also depend on type of skin and wuond treatmrnt.
