Thankful for my Restored Nose!
Oklahoma Surgery-Care, Dr Wayne, and his staff at W Facial Aesthetics worked tirelessly, professionally, and beautifully to receive, process, and perform a necessary and flawless nose surgery on me in summer 2018.
I came back to the US with a complex and totally unique situation, an international referral, and in a last minute-emergency status, but within less than a month I was scheduled for every pre and post appointment for a life altering surgery. After a surprisingly informative consultation of my known damaged but worse than imagined unknown dysfunction of my nose, I attended several more appointments working with the creative, realistic, but overall professional Dr Wayne to reconstruct from the inside out of the hopeful result of my nose and facial profile.
The day of surgery, is a blurred rush, but I was given every reassurance and gentle preparation by all the friendly staff at OKC Surgery-Care before the operation. To improve the inner workings and outward appearance of my nasal passages and overall look, Dr Wayne and his team performed a Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty, and two other minor procedures, all in one surgery, in under two hours.
Although I woke groggy and dazed from anesthesia, with a swollen eye from an accidental nerve interference, under the watchful eyes and care of staff, a pleased surgeon, and helpful family I began my 2 weeks of understandably uncomfortable recovery.
Now with stitches dissolved, off pain medication completely, and almost minimal swelling post surgery two 1/2 weeks later, after years of growing discomfort externally and lack of sleep from structural issues internally, I now can fully breathe, without trouble, awake and asleep, through my nose, a simple task I now take deep pleasure in inhaling and exhaling!
As a bonus, I’m beyond pleased with aesthetic appearance of my nose, it’s smoother, straighter, perfectly symmetrical on the outside, like it used to be pre-injuries, and has softened the contour and overall silhouette of my face.
I’m overwhelmed with the blessing of complete restoration and the ability to breath through my nose from this life improving experience and surgery with the master Dr Wayne, his surrounding staff and facilities, and my supporting family in OKC!
