WORTH IT$4,000
I am 44, 5'9" 175. Ive never liked my breasts and after 2 children & attempting to breast feed my 1st, they were in major need of some help! I never thought I could afford it, and never persued it. A friend of mine had a lift with an implant that Dr Gonce performed, & they were absolutely beautiful!

The morning after surgery
bigsmilenowDecember 10, 2013
I wish I wouldve found this site before I had my surgery as I feel its hard to tell my journey in reverse. Now I spend hours reading everyone's story, they are so interesting! I was asked to add a little more detail, & I'm not very good at this..but here I go: I went for my consultat the end of August & scheduled my surgery for 11/14/13. I was a little nervous, but mostly just very excited. I was worried about scarring but since I had had 2 C sections, my ps said they should heal up close to what those had which healed very nicely. My ps has the only before pics so when I go back for my next follow up I'll take pic of them to update here. They were very saggy, would slither out from under my bras or if I had on a demi type bra they would spill out over the cups. Needless to say about the only type of bra I could wear comfortably was Bali's with the larger piece in the center so I wouldn't have spillage. My left side was noticably larger than my right and that nipple pointed down. My right one was just as saggy but the nipple pointed more out. So when I had on a blouse-I had to watch for the girls to be positioned just so because if it was cold out it was so noticeable they were 'off'. Very embarrassing to say the least.
I looked through all of my ps before & after photos and was so shocked that just about all the women had boobies that looked just like mine! I thought i was the only one, who knew?? When I scheduled my surgery it didn't seem the day would ever come, but it actually passed really fast. I had my procedure done at 1pm. He required a mammogram, blood work and a chest xray-only because I was a previous smoker, by 6 mos.
Also, I didn't think about asking him about the fatty roll under my arm-to the sides of my breasts at the consult, so when he was doing my mark ups before my surgery I asked and he said he would do lipo there & was part of my lift package. Bonus!
After surgery my husband said I woke up asking for a cup of coffee..since I had not been able to have my morning cup! I honestly remember nothing-leaving, getting into the truck, until we got to 7-11 for my precious coffee lol
I went for my follow up the next morning and he said I was looking as I should. I had my next follow 12/5. My left is more swollen than my right I guess since he had to do more work to that side since it was bigger. The lipo he did on the left side was really bad, and hardly had any bruising at all on the right. That all went away really quick. I think that was the most painful areas, where he did lipo.
I slept in my recliner the 1st nite, then in bed propped up on about 3 pillows thereafter. I stopped pain meds on the 6th day, but shouldve by the 4th day at least, due to the constipation. By the 6th day when I still hadn't gone, I turned to Fleet.
My surgery was on a Thurs and I was back to work on Monday. Desk job.
I tried to resume my walking but that didn't turn out so well. I made it 3 miles, but it was so cold which did not feel good on my nipples, they felt like they had little heartbeats of their own lol. They are hypersensitive, can't stand when I don't have my bra on & skin is touching fabric. Thats uncomfortabe, but nothing i cant handle as I'm still wearing a bra around the clock. I just starting wearing a regular bra today, no underwire. I got a Hanes from Walmart, and is so much more comfortable than the sports bras! Can't wait to start wearing pretty lacy bras!
I haven't had any issues thus far & everything seems to be improving every day. Will continue to post recovery pics.
Oh one more thing. My ps highly suggested the silicone sheeting which he had me start wearing when he took off my tape. I had already purchased it from cosmeticsurgery stuff.com. He said theyve noticed better improvement & outcomes of scars with their patients that have used it. His nurse even cut them for me, they come really big. But on others posts I've seen that others ps' s have had them wait for 3 weeks or so, so that kinda concerned me. But I trust Dr Gonce's opinion, too late now anyways ha
They are looking really good already in this short amount of time. I wear them for 12 hours then wash them & let them dry til the next morning. I'll start scar cream next week. Thinking about the coconut oil I read about on someone else's post.
I know this is long..promise my next posts will be kept shorter!

I may have simply missed it but did you only have a lift done or did you also have implants put in? I've lost about 105lbs and am wanting primarily just a lift since I still have some tissue in my boobs and I love how well your's cam out! They look so natural so that's why I ask about implants or only a lift. TIA for your help!!!
