I'm not one of those women who always knew she wanted a boob job. I am, however, someone who has always been insecure about the size and shape of my boobs. I am currently a 38B. They are saggy and lifeless and I haven't even had kids! My weight has fluctuated a bit through the years so they are not perky. I don't think they ever have been. My areoles are also large for my breast size. I am currently on a health journey to get in the best shape of my life. I want to change what I can before I change my breasts. I have finally made up my mind to get my BL/BA. I have not gone for a consultation yet. I am waiting until I get in shape and save at least half the money from r the procedure. I have chosen to go to the doctor my sister went to. I am excited! I will post pictures closer to the date.

Congrats on making your decision & committing to a healthy lifestyle! Your comments about your current breasts are very similar to how I would describe my own pre-op. I'm still waiting to see how they are going to be post-op. Good luck in your journey!

Thank you! I'm nervous about it. I r been getting antsy about going for a consult but changing my figure will change the results. How are you feeling?

I am feeling pretty good! I was able to shower & wash my hair & shave my legs & underarms by myself today with no issue. I'm still having regular discomfort of course, & periodic muscle spasms, but overall I'm getting back a lot of independence already!
Are you taking progress pictures for yourself on your fitness journey? In my experience, that was always the most motivating thing. I was always surprised by how much I'd really improved & just felt that much more encouraged. I plan to do this again once I am given the green light to work out in a few weeks.

I'm glad you're doing that well so quickly! Yes I have been taking progress pictures and I even have an Instagram page for it. I had an 8 week plateau period that took a lot out of me. It was mainly I got too loose on my diet when I got my new puppy in January. I have changed things since and getting back on track.

Oh my gosh I completely understand! We got a puppy in October, & at that point I stopped being super consistent w the gym. I felt bad knowing it meant he would be in his crate that much more. They are a lot of work, but so worth it!

Oh & that's awesome about the IG page too! I follow several fitness accounts on there.:)

Congrats on your decision. I am 8 weeks out on the BL and will have implants on the 29th. My PS wanted to do it separately (which I couldn't fathom, but now I understand). Seems like we all have the same wish pictures. I too have lost a good bit of weight and am on a journey similar to yours. Good to be able to read your story. It sure is a learning experience. I remember day 3 and 4 being the hardest- but, it's so worth it! Happy to keep up with you- please post pictures. Thanks!

Thanks NewDay! My surgeon said I don't need a lift so I will probably make a new review. But I will definitely keep people updated on here. :) congrats on your BL and weight loss. That's great!

Welcome to RealSelf, I'm happy you've decided to start your journey here. This is a great resource to get your questions answered and generally find out everything you want to know. One thing I would suggest is to start checking out the various docs and their work in your area (if that's where you want your procedure done). I found some here. I hope their reviews are helpful!
