Day after surgery and finally got a look at what I'm working with and honestly Its exactly what I expected.. I'm very saggy and caved in.. I'm not a bit worried because I know in time it will get better and shrink up.. I did go buy some Palmer cocoa butter bust cream. It's supposed to help tighten up the skin.., I want to Thank everyone who has been so supportive to me I could not have done this without all of your kindness... I plan to keep posting pictures as I progress.. I hope I have been some help to anyone who was in the same boat As me..It was definitely worth it and I feel so much better...

great update! This is great progress! Agree with debs0622. Couldnt have said it better myself. You are healthy and alot of women our age cant say the same due to cancer and would love to have your breasts. Go easy on yourself and give yourself a pat on the back. I cant wait to get my rocks out. To celebrate you should give someone to biggest hug knowing there arent two giant balloons between you! I cant wait for that. Great updates thanks for sharing such intimate details.

Thank you so much for your story! I'm also having mine removed in December. I'm having a lift done as well, but I need it. I'm looking forward to not feeling burdened by my darn boob! This site and stories like yours help me feel like I'm not a wacko for wanting them out. I just posted my story a few days ago. If you have any suggestions for me, I'm all ears!

So my surgery was this morning at 9:30 went back got my IV and before I knew it was waking up in recovery.. I'm wrapped up super tight and look extremely flat... I didn't get any drains so I'm supposed to wear a really tight compression bra for a month... I have a follow up appointment tomorrow at 10:45 to take the bandages off and put on my compression bra. I already feel a huge difference I feel lighter than ever and have absolutely no pain at all. I am going to post some pics of me before surgery today and after....I'm so happy I went through with it..

Hey well done to you and happy healing. I didn't feel much pain at first but after the GA drugs wore off I had some discomfort so don't worry if you get some. You've done the right thing and I'm with you on the lighter feeling it's so true. I'm 2 weeks post op tomorrow and a thing that made me giggle was that my boobs were jiggling when I walked fast with the dog even though they're smaller. I love my old/ new boobs so soft and warm it's true what everyone says on this wonderful supportive site. I must post my story and pics! Hugs and no regrets x

Thank you. And congrats to you .You should tell your story. I don't think I would have had the courage to do this is it wasn't for everyone being so supportive and helpful on this site... I know now I definitely did the right thing. No regrets....good luck to you in your recovery...

Huuuge congrats. Your pre pics remind me so much of my chest/ body type ( although you are alot more fit than I am) . This is such a great website.
