I have been interested in getting Infini treatment and have been looking into it. There are only a few places that were indicated on the Infini website in my area that performs this. I felt confident with Dr Lori Hansen and her team.
I had to leave the numbing cream on for an hour and a half before the procedure then had shots of lidocaine (which was very painful). I had a friend to drive me so they gave me an IV with some pain medication, which I suggest since they were able to be a little more aggressive with the treatment.
Two passes of the Infini were done first, then two passes with the CO2 and the PRP lastly. The Infini and CO2 were still uncomfortable but I was determined to get through it.
I was really red and oozing following the treatment but still numb.
I have been interested in getting laser work done since forever! I am excited about the results and will try to keep this updated!

keep me posted my appointment is next Monday. Are you nervous at this point, also how often are you cleaning your face and does it hurt? what does day 2 look and feel like?

I will update with pictures! I'm not so much nervous anymore, just a little scared that the results won't be as dramatic as I hope for. I started washing my face probably at least like 6-8 times a day initially and doing less everyday, probably 3-4 times now. Day two isn't pretty but it didn't really hurt so much, more warm feeling and tender

Please keep up the reviews. I see you are making progress. Those first 6 days look rough. Very interested in seeing photos and hearing more of your reviews.

ever thing I have read indicates you need multiple treatments for best results. Usually 4 weeks apart. Probably shouldn't make a decision if it is a success or not at this point.

Will be getting a RF from this very doctor this year, it may be 1,2,or a series of 3.. How are you looking now?? Pretty good collagen remodeling?

I do believe that there is some improvement but not dramatically. I'm still considering doing another RF treatment but so far I don't think it's worth it.

Can you please post some pics whenever your able to, so i can get an idea? You also had a combination of treatments simultaneously, i wonder if instead of making it more beneficial it lessened the effectiveness of the other of which allowed for remodeling to not react as such. The CO2 Fraxel destroys the epidermis with heat from the outside -in, and the Infini destroys the Dermis from the inside -out. By doing both of these methods simultaneously, it could of counter acted the growth of collagen due to making the skin health regeneration more complex for the body. In other words skin cells were sent to fix the epidermis and skin cells were sent to the dermis, all simultaneously, instead of the body focusing primarily in one region that was wounded.

Ha, I have been doing quite a bit of research.

Yes I will post more pictures. Keep in mind, my skin will look better or worse depending on the lighting (shadows). I have also done so much research! I posted questions on here to doctors that specialize in treating acne scars and they said that the combination would be effective. But if I do another treatment it will be without the CO2. Best of luck to you!

Yea I just read your their answers and wow that's crazy. Taking in consideration how the body reacre and the nervous system responds to pain messages being sent, with two urgent messages being received the body is going to be less efficient and productive in responding to two urgent wounds that are prob equal in severity due to they exist in two diff locations, could be a money thing? But yes, i am just going to check out the RF's effectivity treatment series, because I watched the whole manual video on the website and if I just get nearly half the results of the trial patients, I am going to be completing my journey of getting the complexion well enough to where I'll just do facials every now and again to maintain a presentable/socially acceptable appearance. Thanks a lot and to you as well!!

After treatment

Here are some pictures of after the procedure and today (day after). It's still pretty yucky! Been cleaning by soaking paper towels with cold water and a little vinegar and letting it set on my skin for a few minutes then gently wiping. After cleaning I slather Aquaphor all over. I was told to keep it clean and greasy. Hopefully there will be some improvement with the healing soon.
