Ladies (and gents) be ready for the feel of a thousand crunches if and when you return to weight training or start it.
I have no plan to do crunches it an work anytime soon, but my abs felt like I already did. Talk about core and engaging your core throughout any and every exercise you do and prepare to feel the soreness!
Today I trained back and I was a tad stuff, but the soreness of my abs was shocking.
Keep up the good work/recovery and remember to take it slow.
I still have swelling and that seroma on the left side is still there, but slowly decreasing. Is it possible that my seroma spread? I've noticed a smaller one on the lower right side now. I'm not sure if it's seroma or just swelling.
If I wear tighter panties or pants, it leaves a semi permanent indent until it dissipates. It's a little weird.
I've gone back to wearing my full silicone sheeting band but for only 12 hours instead of 24. So far so good, no re opening of the incision.
Let's see how chest day works out tomorrow.

hi congratz for your flat belly! Do you have any problem with the mesh? can you feel it?
My surgeon actually ended up not having to use the mesh. Do you have mesh? I'm glad because I was nervous about it.
my surgery is not scheduled yet but ps told me that he will use mesh to repair my hernia
That's what my surgeon said about mine, but once he got in there, he said it wasn't necessary. Good Luck!

We meet again!
Today was my first day back in the weight room! I trained arms today and it felt absolutely amazing!
I'm back in the saddle again. Although my strength has decreased since December before surgery, It will only be a short while until I'm back where I was and beyond.
Tomorrow is back day and I'm so happy to be back at it!
I'll be sure to follow up tomorrow with how sore I am.
