I am 53 years old and have spent my entire life in the sun. I Had my first yag laser treatment done today. I have severe sun damage and brown spots on my chest and a few on my face. My Doctor said it would probably take three treatments.
This procedure is very painful. I would describe it as hot bacon grease splattering on you. It's definately not fun. The burning sensation lasted about two hours. I put Aquaphor on it. (That's what the Dr. Recommended.)
I am writing this review because I could find very much info about this procedure when I was doing my research. I will keep posting pictures as I heal. Today it looks pretty horrific.

Thank you for sharing I've been to Dr Benien many years for consults but I'm actually having the Yag Laser next week on my hands. My Great Grandmother always called this liver spots (brown spots). I'm so excited I won't have to hide my hands any more. I'll try the Aquaphor

Hi. I had mine to today. You were right it was like splashes of hot bacon grease on my face and the spots turned more darker after the procedure. I'm afraid would it still lighten? How was the result on you?

I really appreaciate you taking the time to share your review. I can imagine how painful the laser was on your chest. I was treated 9 times with a laser on my back (different laser but I can relate) Glad you are feeling better now. Good luck on your future treatment, I will be watching for updates.

Thank you Eva. I really hope it doesn't take nine treatments to get rid of my sunspots. Do you mind if I ask what you were treated for? I am very hopeful and trust my doctor. I will keep posting updates. Thanks again.
