Surgery was a success!!

Surgery was a success!!! My original surgery date was moved from 4/26 to 5/3. Everything happens for a reason, though I must say the morning of the 26th I'm surprised I didn't get a police escort from the hospital once they had told me my surgery was cancelled because of a computer glitch!
Surgery day: We had to get to the hospital at 5am with a surgery start time of 730. They started my IV antibiotics and liquids at about 645 and gave me a Valium as well thank god! On the way to the OR they put some more "I don't care" medicine in my I.V and once they got me on the table they knocked me out with a mask. The surgery lasted right at 5 hours. For the first time since my car wreck my back didn't hurt when I woke up! The pain from the reduction was absolutely intense. The nurse was giving me a 5mg Percocet and 2mg of dilaudid every 4 hours. Once she saw that wasn't helping the pain she called the surgeon and he bumped the dilaudid up to 4mg every 2 hours and 15 mg of Percocet every 4 hours. I did stay for observation overnight and was released at about 2 the next day. Luckily he removed the drains prior to me leaving the hospital.
Results: The results from my surgery are absolutely outstanding. He did have to move my nipple into my tattoo but did it very artistically. Right now I'm at a swollen C, he seems to think I will end up a full B. When he did the reduction, he also did a lift and made sure I have adequate upper pole fullness. He did extended scars as well as lipo on the sides to ensure I don't get side boobage. This surgery has been absolutely life changing!
Update post op day 4: I am able to make coffee and do very light things around the house. I'm still taking my pain meds every 4 hours. We went to visit my dad in the hospital today and I was sitting upright for a total of 4 hours which is way too long. Thank god I have a month of work ????The pictures I have so far are the day of surgery as well as the next day. My wound care is very simple, he wants me to clean the anchor incision with antibacterial soap and air dry. He wants me to put Vaseline only on my nipples. I kept panty liners in my surgical bra to protect the inclusions and gauze over my nipples.

Getting close ya'll!!

Holy smokes, less than 24 hours left! I have to be at the hospital at 6am and my surgery is scheduled to start at 8am. During pre-op he said he is scheduled to remove at minimum 550 grams. I told him as small as safety possible. He said he will take me as small as he can without compromising my nipple or tattoo. Fingers crossed I end up a large B or small C. I have the normal pre surgery fears and concerns, but adding to that the news is calling for an enhanced tornado chance tomorrow. Normally I don't play into the hype too much, but even the scientist are calling for a 6/10 as of 6 am this morning. Fingers crossed it doesn't increase anymore. The PS's assistant told me to bring an overnight bag just in case but if I feel up for it I can go home after surgery. At least if I'm home I will have access to a tornado shelter. May have to look into creative ways of protecting my drains on my way into the shelter. Ugh
