My swelling is still going down. Looking good this morning, hope it continues to go down. I've been clear to ditch the binder and compression garments and just go without. I tried to go without the other day after my PS check up and that went all bad swelled up like I was prego and it hurt so bad I had to go to bed. So I've decided to forgo one of the two binders I wear. So yesterday and while sleeping I only wore my one binder that goes over my lower tummy. That went well no extra swelling and woke up decently flatter. I will continue to just slowly wean off the compression support as my lower tummy still feels like a brick with some help from the binder. I have also been cleared to exercise any kind I want except weight lifting and never ever at anytime abdominal sit-ups or crunches. He said they are not needed all that was archived during surgery not to risk ruining the muscle repair. He said planks are best for abdominal building. I haven't exercised yet I'm slowly working into that also trying to run up the stairs like before surgery and just getting in my 10 thousand plus steps a day. I've been clothes shopping twice which is awesome to be able to wear clothes I never could before because of my saggy tummy. Goal now is to continue to progress forward work on exercise and eating healthy. No over doing it. And continue to get stronger. P.S. I'm loving actually having a belly button I have not had one in 19 years.

Almost 5 wks post op update
Things are getting easier moving more freely still can't lay flat or get out of bed without using the adjustable setting to sit me up. But on a good note my swelling in my lower belly is going down. It's down one inch plus I'm down a inch in my middle waist and a half inch in my hips. Doctor said I could wear compression tank tops if I wanted I bought two so far not sure if I'm ready to leave my binder till all my swelling is down I'll judge it over this week. Other wise things are good not sleeping well but I've never been a great sleeper.

Yay glad to hear the swelling is getting better! It's going to continue to get better from here on!
Thank you me too :)
I have that same puffy lower belly...thats how my stomach looks. Is your incision hard too?
Oh yes the incision is hard and swollen in a line across my puffy lower belly I'm praying it keeps going down I'm massaging it a couple times a day.

One Month Post op tomorrow
So I've decided to measure my lower tummy to see if the swelling is actually swelling and whether or not it's going down so far since I it's went down a half inch. I measured it 10 days post op when I ordered a swim suit bottom so since that day it's went down a total inch and a half. I'm praying this is swelling or an easy lipo fix down the road. We will see.
But I decided to try on some of my clothes from last summer and these shorts didn't fit last year to tight and uncomfortable now they fit perfectly and all my other short fit as well. So that makes me happy. Just wish my lower belly didn't feel like I was carrying around a 10 pound brick it's so heavy and uncomfortable. Calling the surgeon here in a few about a spot that looks like fluid to see if it needs drained. Then out to shop for pretty new under wear hopefully I'll find something cute that looks good instead of my normal workout underwear. :) here's to hoping this is all swelling.

You can def see the difference from your last photos you posted! The swelling has def gone down! Hope you find some things you like while shopping! That has been harder than I thought. Clothes are good, but I can't seem to find nice bras and I still haven't found a bathing suit yet :(
I went out and found some beautiful long flowwy skirts I've always wanted but couldn't wear before because I'd look prego now they look amazing I love have a flatter tummy and no flabby skin. I bought 5 skirts and a couple tops plus heals all in bright summer colors. I never wanted to be seen before I'd hid in my dark clothes now I feel more comfortable it my own skin. I've had no luck with a swim suit yet either. I want boy short with a bikini top but all the shorts are cheeky and I don't want my butt hanging out lol
Sounds like it was a good shopping trip! Yes I agree-anything with shirts now a days is way too cheeky lol! Glad to hear you are loving your new body
Amazing changes. Thanks for sharing
