I am 26 yr old married mother of 2. I have a hernia and dislacerated muscles to be repaired during my tummy tuck. Im only a size 7 but my hernia won't allow me to workout my core without it getting worse. My husband and I are very nervous about the surgery, but we just keep praying everything will be okay. I am excited and can't wait to post my after pics:)

Hello futurerocknbody..I know your nervouse but as long as you have a great support system, which has already started with your husband; you'll be just fine. I'm 1week po and I had an umbilical and ventral hernia. Keep us posted.

Hey Jerzeejewel thank you! I'm glad my husband is so support because not one other person thinks it's necessary. I just brushed it off and told myself maybe they're just nervous for me. June 3rd wilk be here so soon I'm ready right now!

Hello I am excited for you! I am 25 with 5 wonderful kids and I have the same exact problem just as you do with the hernia and muscle. Mine is tuesday and I am nervous as ever you can view my page if you want. my insurance will pay for the portion that is hernia - the hernia surgeon fee, the OR cost for time do do the hernia, the anesthesia cost for hernia time, but all the rest is cosmetic, and is PS fee at my expense. i will be having TT w hernia done.
