Doctors think my body type can handle 600cc! I'm tall and broad chested but I don't think that is right for me although i don't have any breast tissue left. Im athletic and where mostly t shirts. I'm also requesting smaller nipples, which are on the higher side, anyone have suggestions? Surgery Tuesday preop Monday

Hi there! I'm also 5'11" and was a bit smaller than you going into surgery. My doc recommended 350cc but I didn't want to be huge (I'm also athletic build) and went down to 300cc. I still feel I'm a bit bigger than I would like, but may be due to swelling yet? I'm 4 weeks post op and my cup size is DD. I was hoping for a large C.

Look at some pictures on here or just online of women your height- and a chest your size. Then take the ones you like to your doctor to see if they are realistic results for your body type. Plus it may give him a better idea of the outcome you want...I am 5'5 160 lbs and my doctor recommended 450 CC but low profile. I thought whoa...but after looking around I really think he is spot on. Main thing is be very open and honest with who ever you choose- keep asking questions until you feel comfortable! Good luck!

I'm 5'7, 144#. and I got 475cc high profile silicone with a lift. Thought I would be huge but I am really liking the size, which now seems to be a 34DDD. I didn't want my boobs to be the first thing that would enter the room. Lol

Thank you for starting your journey on RealSelf! Hoping your pre op appointment went well today and that you determined the perfect implant size for your body. Good luck tomorrow and be sure to update us as soon as you're feeling up to it. Happy healing!

Hey there. . After doing research on the different implant (saline vs silicone) depending on what you get saline will giveyou a bigger look with less cc as silicone you would need more. My Dr suggested 200cc thinking the 300cc I chose would be too much. And I love mine. Silicone is what I went with moderate profile. So depending on about what size you want and which implant. . Maybe do some research yourself on silicone vs saline. I found awesome pics on women who had the same size outcome but had distant implants. Good luck!

Surgery was yesterday. I wasn't ready for the post op pain, the back pain is the worst. Today is much better. They put 500cc saline in.

The second I took off the ace compression wrap my pain was so much better! I am nervous my nipples are to low, what do you think.

I don't think they look low! I think from what I have seen on here that it takes a few weeks for the implants to "fall into the pocket"- which when they fall down it will make your nipples seem even higher. It amazes me how different people's bodies look with different CC's- the 500CC doesn't look large on you at all!!! Take good care of yourself and cant wait to hear about the recovery journey so I can prepared for whats to come :)

Hi. I really think it's is likely too early to tell because of the positioning, which is going to change over time. My guess is that they will be just right once things have dropped.
