Since I'm 3 days out from surgery, outcome is yet to be determined. I am still swollen and sore/stiff. My doctor was voted the best in my city for the third year running and studied under one of the best doctors in the world - period, so I have every confidence that once the swelling is gone, I will be the most beautiful woman in the world. Well, maybe in part of my block! First of all, I had fat removed from my stomach and couldn't find a single photo on the web of what that might look like, so I have attached one. It is still very, very sore. Muscle soreness, with a degree of pain to boot. It took quite a bit of effort for the doctor to get it, which should have been easy since I've got plenty to spare. Now I see why women complain so much about the pain of tummy tucks! I was awake throughout the procedure. My face is still stiff and sore and I am still taking stuff for pain. It is getting much better.b

I was up for the whole thing. Added a 3rd valium and 2nd Vicodin after the procedure started. Was on the table for 4.5 hours - awake the whole time. Whenever I winced, they gave me more novocaine or whatever they use to deaden pain in the face. in his office - no anesthesia

Feeling kind of down. Maybe from the drugs, maybe too much sleep, maybe because I'm kind of hiding and my crazy schedule is nonexistent. Can't wait to get back to the gym. The photos do show some of the swelling is going and I feel no need for pain pills today. I guess the first week is the worst. Belly's better, too

Slow and steady wins the race. Keep your eye on the prize. Good things come to those who wait. Okay, I'm out of cliches, but they are true. You have already had an incredible transformation in just 5 days! Look at your lovely skin! Like a baby. That jaw line, wow. It will only get better. And now you are on the down slide home! Congratulations, you look gorgeous!

The result is great - you look much younger. I wish you great healing! Do you have a picture of the scars?
May I ask for the name of the doctor? And why did you not publish it? Does the doctor not want this?

It was Dr Maloney in Tucson. Trained by one of the best plastic surgeons In the country (boston). I couldn't be happier.

Thank you Luckylucysmith :) I am living in Germany but will consider Dr. Maloney thanks to your great review - the price is reasonable, too. When you say "trained by one of the best plastic surgeons" - whom do you refer to? Since I do not live in the US I am not up to date on the top surgeons. In 2009 I had a rhinoplasty revision with Dr. Denenberg and he ist fantastic for noses. However, he says my skin is not saggy enough yet for a surgery - but I disagree.
best regards!

My Boston surgeon retired last year. Dr. Elof Eriksson was the chief of plastic surgery At Brigham and Women's Hospital. How old are you?

Thank you for your answer - please understand that I do not want to give my age in the public here :) My skin is mainly sagging in my face because I lost 6 kg of weight, from 52 kg to 46 now and so there is skin hanging around the jowls now.

All abdominal pain has been gone for a week or so.

Part of face, neat where the jowls were is still fairly numb. One of my ears hurts a little on occasion. Neck scars almost nearly gone. Ears are healing nicely, scars will be nice and flat and basically invisible when done. Posting new pix...
