16 days out

All abdominal pain has been gone for a week or so.

Part of face, neat where the jowls were is still fairly numb. One of my ears hurts a little on occasion. Neck scars almost nearly gone. Ears are healing nicely, scars will be nice and flat and basically invisible when done. Posting new pix...

5 days out

Feeling kind of down. Maybe from the drugs, maybe too much sleep, maybe because I'm kind of hiding and my crazy schedule is nonexistent. Can't wait to get back to the gym. The photos do show some of the swelling is going and I feel no need for pain pills today. I guess the first week is the worst. Belly's better, too

Since I'm 3 days out from surgery, outcome is yet to be determined. I am still swollen and sore/stiff. My doctor was voted the best in my city for the third year running and studied under one of the best doctors in the world - period, so I have every confidence that once the swelling is gone, I will be the most beautiful woman in the world. Well, maybe in part of my block! First of all, I had fat removed from my stomach and couldn't find a single photo on the web of what that might look like, so I have attached one. It is still very, very sore. Muscle soreness, with a degree of pain to boot. It took quite a bit of effort for the doctor to get it, which should have been easy since I've got plenty to spare. Now I see why women complain so much about the pain of tummy tucks! I was awake throughout the procedure. My face is still stiff and sore and I am still taking stuff for pain. It is getting much better.b

I was up for the whole thing. Added a 3rd valium and 2nd Vicodin after the procedure started. Was on the table for 4.5 hours - awake the whole time. Whenever I winced, they gave me more novocaine or whatever they use to deaden pain in the face. in his office - no anesthesia
