UPDATED FROM NCWs2ndChance

5 days of treatment

$500
Could have definitely worn the strips longer, but I was having some issues with hair growth underneath and decided to remove them a bit early, shave and let that heal before my next application. The additional strips arrived Monday!

After so many recommendations on this site for Embrace, I decided to give it a go myself. I started my treatment 2.5 wks after my tummy tuck.

I bought the 60 day tummy tuck kit from the manufacturer's website and received the product quickly. WARNING: Be sure you measure your scar and order enough product. Their website does not do a very good job of explaining that the kit may or may not be enough product for your scar. I had a standard tummy tuck and am of average size. The kit assumes that it will take 3 strips to cover the scar. It took 4 for mine. Thankfully their customer service people were WONDERFUL and sent me more product so that I would have enough for the 60 days I paid for. Also, be sure you know how many strips it's going to take BEFORE you apply it. I wasted a strip because the instruction say to start in the middle of the incision. And lastly, WATCH the youtube video on how to open the strips. I wasted one incorrectly opening the strips as well.

So far so good. I'm at about 4 days of wear, it's still securely in place. I've had no skin irritation and what I can see under the strips is looking really good. I forgot to take close up before pictures, but I do have these. I'll be updating as I go. It really does feel like it's taken the tension off the scar itself and I feel like that is going to make transitioning out of the binder much easier.
