Hello I just want to say that I love this site and all of the positive energy! Here's a little bit about myself.. I am a 24yr old mother of one child. My fiance and I have been together for 8yrs and are finally set to get married in march 2017. I've always had a weight problem and finally started my journey! I had my first apt at shands in Gainesville and will have a surgery date in a few weeks!! Can't wait to start losing weight!! Good luck to everyone!!

Thank you that's what I'm looking fwd too! I plan to get to 150# and my fiance is supporting me 1000%!! I'm a little worried about the healing process but I got my gall bladder out and that wasnt to bad lol

I wrote a review right after my surgery about my initial recovery. I was told the pain was similar to my gallbladder removal. It was not. I was running around the day after that operation. This was tougher. The good news is everyone is different but we get through it. If you find yourself miserable (like I was) just remember, this too shall pass and you will get better. It is worth it. I cannot believe how much better I feel each and every day.

Be strong,...this is truly personal journeys,...I'm scheduled for the Gastric Sleeve procedure on July 27. It's been a long path,...but I'm ready. Headed to my two second, on my clear liquid diet. Good luck with everything, and don't be a stranger. Take care.

It will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. To carry that extra pounds is to put your heart under tremendous strain non stop! I let it go until it effected my knee's. I had surgery for the knees two weeks ago and thank goodness I had that 70 extra pounds gone before the surgery for it. I promise you will be a beautiful bride and your honey will carry you over the threshold. Blessings
