Today was my second doctor appointment post op. And it was encouraging! My drain was not a problem until after about ten days, then it began hurting every time I moved and leaking. I band-aided panty liners around it and tried to keep it from moving. That helped but still irritated. Today it was removed...problem solved! He took out the rest of the stitches in my beautiful belly button, and took the tape off the incision. I am a new woman!
My hair is so dry and tired looking. That's my next issue...easy peasy lemon squeezy after all of this!

Your incision looks great! How far can you reach up right now? I'm doing a short scar incision arm-lift with Dr.Shapiro but he wants to do a zig zag incision. Apparently, he can pull my arm even tighter...secondly, he's using dissolvable stitches. Why were your stitches not dissolvable? My arms are no longer heavy, I have a little loose skin...leaving my arm skin looking untoned. They say the short scar arm lift only tightens 1/3 of the upper arm...how much of the upper arm skin did it smooth out for you? Thanks for posting, you're the 1st minimal incision arm-lift review that I have come across.

Mine is extended...from elbow to inder breast. Getting rid of alot of axcess, skon. My ps uses stables externally and dislovable stitches imternally. My arms should be thinned outcand no more back fat.

I didn't find short scar arm lifts either. My arms are sort of a family curse, my mom and grandma had the same issue I do. He did both internal and external stitches. I asked for better not perfect. I didn't want the scars from the longer incision but that would have given a better result. It's all a trade off. My doctor didn't duscuss zig zags. Hope things work well for you!
