I had major surgery when I was 4, had my appendix out when I was 16 and had a C-section with my daughter when I was 27. I have been living with severe scaring most of my life. It has affected my relationships, my confidence and my self worth. I was a bit nervous about getting a tummy tuck to remove the scars, but am so glad I did. For the first time I feel like a normal person and more like myself than I have ever felt. I am more confident and for the first time in my life am happy with what I see in the mirror.
