I'm 54 and I was tired of always being told I looked tired or asked if I was sick. I constantly had bags under my eyes and very heavy top lids. I met with Dr. Schlesinger and he instantly told me he could do a Blepharoplasty with Muscle Sling that would not only help my "eye" issues, but make me look younger. The Muscle Sling procedure pulls the muscle from cheek area and attaches it just under the eye. The procedure is virtually pain free with very little downtime. I am more than happy with the procedure and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about it! It's only been a month, but my eyes look bigger, more expressive, and I look 10 years younger :-).

Dr. Schlesinger is incredibly kind and a true artist. The office is always busy, which at first bothered me, but then I realized he must be good! The staff are all friendly and professional. Whenever you go to the office, they always have food out. For breakfast, fruit and muffins, for lunch, sandwiches. In the afternoon there may be fruit and crackers & cheese. The surgery center is in a different place; very new, very clean, and very nice. Dr. Schlesinger did a wonderful job explaining the procedure, what to expect, and what I would feel. You have the option of going home after the surgery or staying at the surgery center with a nurse over night. I chose this option as the procedure requires cold compresses applied and changed every 20 minutes or so, and eye drops every 2 hours. Having the nurse handle was great! I can't be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Schlesinger for eyelid surgery. Don't let the name "Breast Implant Center" scare you away from using him for other plastic surgery.

That's so good to here, I'm frightened but I am the same with hooded eye coming eeeeee so I'm going hopefully just after Christmas... Aj
