I always have had a little bulge under my eyes....

I always have had a little bulge under my eyes. It’s genetic, my mom and grandpa have it bad. I always looked tired and I wasn’t, I’m only 33. I have tried filler under my eyes twice and it worked but the results were short lived.
I have worked in the Plastic surgery field for years doing medical esthetics. So I knew I wanted a lower blep. I’m currently living in Hawaii. So I researched doctors In the area. Went on three consults and decided to go with Dr. D in aiea. He seemed like he would be able to give me the results I wanted with very little down time. I choose where they go and make and incision between the eye ball and bottom eye lid, that way the stitches are internal with no scar.
The day of surgery I was nervous, but confident in the doctor and staff.
All that changed when I woke up, apparently they hit a blood vessel during the procedure and I woke up with a massive black eye. Of course I was shocked and not happy. But I understood these things can happen in surgery. He assured me it would be gone in about two weeks.
I flew to California to visit my family two days after the surgery. I updated the doctor with pictures and emails about my progress, which was getting worse. His replies back were short and non helpful. As you can tell by the pictures. Finally after almost 8 weeks of recovery I went back in for another follow up. At this point I was beyond disappointed, frustrated and upset. I still had a black eye. The doctors response was to go and visit the make up counter and see if they can cover it up!! He said there was nothing he could do. He offered no help or consolment. I left crying and contacted another doctor in the area.
He saw me right away and treated me for post traumatic hyperpientaion. He basically caused so much damage to my skin that it caused it to blacken. Please please do major research before choosing a doctor. This experience has taught me so much about humility and how to try and see positive out of a very negative situation. Hope my review helps

I do not know how long it's been since your surgery but if it does not go away, maybe you know how they laser tatoos off could help laser off the dark pigmentation or some other laser or IPL.

I have a facial bruise setting on my BBL. It helps heal bruises in a couple of days. If you do bruise, I do not charge for it. This was a huge hematoma. Some thing got nicked. Try arnica and pineapples as well. Warm compress after 48 hours also bring the blood to the area to help it heal, Best wishes

Hi there, I know this is several years old but I’m curious if the dark pigmentation ever went away? I have lingering bruising that looks very similar and am having trouble figuring out what to do
