4 months post surgery all is well

It's now been 4 months since the procedure and I think my result is perry much there. I'm no longer concerned about asymmetry. There might be a little there and there are still small fat bags which my doctor says is the fat he didn't remove as he was being cautious. I'm happy with that as too little is definitely better than too much and I just don't feel really conspicuous any more. So even if my eye bags aren't perfect they are so much better and I'm no longer self conscious about it. Overall this was a straightforward experience. That might be largely due to the fact that my doc and I opted for a simple fat removal and I'm glad I didn't strive for perfection and risk complications from a more complicated procedure. That's just me though. Others might think I should have had more fat removed. I'm thinking that in a few years I will prob end up getting my uppers done but it's a not a priority right now. BTW I have been using Librow to regenerate my eyebrows and I think that helps frame my eyes better too.

9 days post. Noticeable assymetry.
Swelling has pretty much all gone down but my right eye has a noticeable hollowing in the tear trough that eye had more bulging fat to start with so it was always going to be difficult to get it perfectly symmetrical but I can't help feeling that a little too much fat was trimmed from this side. I expect I'll have to correct it slightly with fillers which is a bit disappointing but I know it's not that uncommon. Also the hollowing on that side creates a wrinkle when I smile. Overall I think it is an improvement but certainly not perfect. At least the recovery was a lot easier than I expected!

You are still very early post op. I've taken a pic of my eyes every day since my procedure and it has varied as the healing progressed. Even if you decide to get filler, your most recent pic still looks better than your before in my opinion. The most important thing is that you're happy. 90% of the population has asymmetrical eyes. If you get filler, just make sure you have an expert do it. I'd love to see your photo again at 1 month!
Today I am 10 days post op and I have one eye that has more bulge higher up under the eyelash. It almost appears as though some of the fat bag was moved up slightly during the procedure and as a result could possibly be a new eye bag that is smaller and much higher than I had before the surgery... I will post a pic soon but I am in the same position as you where one eye is noticeably different. I was told by my Dr. that is is still swelling and to give it time to come down. That could be your case as well. It looks like your eye that is more hollow was a little worse than the other one and it could be that you needed more work on that side and as a result have more swelling on that side which could cause your tear trough to look greater.
Its definitely swelling. Don't be too disheartened. I am 6 weeks with upper and lower and still a ways to go yet. I think its looking good.
Looks awesome! Nice to read about a good experience. All the bad ones are making me nervous to have my very baggy lowers done.

Day 2 all is well
I can't believe I'm not more swollen! I feel great and sure, I look a little too rough to go out in public, but only 48 hours after the surgery I expected to be much worse than this. The only issue I have is that one eye is twitching quite a lot which is irritating. The picture doesn't show that I have kidney bean sized swellings under each eye.

Yeah the recovery was far less dramatic than I expected. I actually took two weeks off work but could have done 1. See my latest update for how it looks now.
