Just finished my Pre Op appointment! Hopefully going down to a C or a D. Nervous For an unnatural look.. Others using this MD seem to be satisfied! Took 1 week off from work and will be working from home the second week. Staff at this office are amazing!!!! Very attentive!!! Would 100% recommend so far.

I used Dr. Karp for my BR almost 2 years ago and I can unequivocally state HE'S THE BEST! You are fortunate to be in the hands of an artist and expert surgeon. I had no post-op complications at all and healed quickly. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating every time I called or came in. My best advice is to let Dr. Karp decide what size best suits your build and body-type. I also wished I'd gone down to a C, but if I had I would've looked flat-chested. Dr. Karp will make sure your new breasts are totally proportional with your frame. I am now a size D in most bras but look totally different than before. I can wear all types of sweaters, tees, STRIPED (!) and clothes in general that I avoided most of my life. I can even go braless if I wanted to. Most importantly I am now pain-free after suffering for years with chronic back, neck and shoulder pain. Your search for a PS lead you to the best. Relax and prepare for your new life ahead. Good luck!!

Officially 4 weeks post op

Officially 4 weeks post op and recovery has been a bit longer than expected. I have developed the, supposedly common, open wounds at the T incisions which is frustrating and prolonging the overall recovery time. BUT I am very happy with every other aspect of the procedure. I worked from home for 2 weeks, and the last week and a half I have been commuting to the city with no problems...going back December 3rd for another check up! Looking forward to it! Yes, I do believe they are common. I had one too and it has healed nicely. Good luck to you! Speedy recovery!

Thank you!!! Yes, mine are pretty deep and are on both breasts, so not ideal, but hopefully no scarring issues

Feel free to look at my pictures. I have some on there of my opening and the resulting closure. Then you can compare it to your openings. Those pictures were several months ago and the scar is even lighter now that I have reached my one year anniversary.
