I am in my early 30's and have had 3 children. My wight gain during pregnancies was at most 20 lbs. but i guess being so tiny pre-pregancies it took its toll on my belly. I am scheduled for a tummy tuck on May 5th with Dr. Kiran Polavarapu. I've had plastic surgery before so I'm not so much afraid of the procedure just nervous about the recovery process, since I've heard the recovery isn't very fun.

You look amazing! I was wondering if you asked to have your scars placed where they are. I always see the low low scars. I wonder if the higher make more of an hourglass.

Was this the full price of your surgery hospital fees and all?

Thank you, I have a question...how long did you wear the compression garment?
April 25, 2014
Initially Dr. P told me to wear it for 3 months. On my April 9th follow up she told I could wear a regular faja but I still use my stage 2 compression garment. I use the marena and the vedette (vedette runs smaller) therefore I get more support but the marena fabric is nice and softer, so I go back and forward with those two.

April 25, 2014
February 13th was mine. My 3 months will be May 13th but I still swell up.

Wow really, 3 months after my surgery I'll be in Miami on vacation and I wanted to be in a bikini by then. When does the swelling go away?
May 5, 2014
How soon after the surgery you plan to go to Miami? You'll need to cover the incision unless you want the incision to get dark. You can get hiperpigmentation from the sun. Depending on your skin color and the way you heal. Make sure you make your research.

I'm 8 days away from the flat side but the nerves are getting the best of me. The idea of not being able to move around so easy is kind of bothering me.I'm even getting cold feet. I guess I have 8 days to decide if I want to go thru with it.
