Hi everyone, I just wanted to give a quick update. All is well here. Not much has changed. Back to working out and incorporating crunches. Scar is fading. Still some tenderness in the upper abdominal area. It's amazing how long it takes to completely heal. Our tummy takes a beating!

THanks for sharing. I'm having a TT on sept 22nd. I'm tall and petite. I don't have a lot of loose skin but a significant diastasis recti. I am so bloated and pregnant looking at the end of the day. It's very uncomfortable. Do you find that your abs feel stronger now that they've been repaired? How are you finding working out? Do you still swell? Do you still feel tight? Sorry for all the questions. I'm nervous!
Hi there rhi2007! My best advice is to find someone who will be able to pull all of that skin down without doing any kind of umbilical float or vertical incision. i don't know what your tummy looks like but you may only need your muscles tightened, which they can do without the tummy tuck. Of course if you have loose skin then no amount of tightening will correct that. Regarding my abs, they do feel stronger but I also think that they are somewhat lax still when I'm not engaging my core. Two reasons for this: my anatomy and multiple pregnancies. I just have to continue strengthening my core. I am still not where I was (in terms of core strength) because I am careful not to over do it as they are still tender and probably still some tissue inflamation. I think it can take up to a year or even longer to see the end-results and for the tenderness to go away. Good luck on the 22nd!!!! And please ask me anything you want!
Oh! Just to answer all of your questions, I do still swell (mostly in the upper abs) after a good workout and still sometimes at the end of the day. I still feel tight, which I love.
Lol!i just looked at your profile and you do have photos! Okay! Now I get it! Yes, tummy tuck!! Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!
Great results! So smooth and beautiful shape on the sides. Your scar is so low too.
