I've always been super paranoid and insecure about my nose. Especially being in the limelight, I felt that people would look and stare. It was very flat, especially at the top. I always said that if my house were to ever catch on fire (touch wood) that the one thing I would grab would be my contour kit. I didn't feel comfortable to leave the house without makeup unless my nose was heavily contoured to make it appear more narrow.
Then one day I said enough is enough. I stayed up one night doing intense research on African American noses. I was looking for the best Doctor that not only specialised on just the face but one that was skilled and had a lot of experience with black noses. DR Oleh came on top of every search and my decision was made.
I flew over to NYC and made my consultation appointment the following day. His staff were so professional, kind and welcoming. I felt right at home. With no questions asked I paid in full and was looking forward to my surgery the following day.
On the day of the surgery I honestly felt no nerves as DR Oleh had this very confident attitude which definitely reassured me. The surgery took just 2 hours and I rested for an additional hour.
During the recovery I even forgot I had the surgery done as I felt no pain what's so ever. My eyes swelled a tad on day 3 and 4 but other than that it was a breeze. Before I knew it was day 7, the day my new nose would finally be revealed to me.
I love my nose because it's given me a new found confidence and I feel like a brand new, more attractive version of me. When people see me the first thing they say is "omg your face has really slimmed down". I love this reaction because I have the best of both worlds! Not only does my nose still show my ethnicity but the bridge is more prominent (which is exactly what i wanted).
My only regret is not having this surgery with DR Oleh sooner.
I want to say a big thank you to himself and his team for changing my life.
