WORTH IT$1,500
I had this procedure done 3 weeks ago by Dr Yael Halaas.... she placed threads along my jawline and upper neck area. The results are undeniable. My jawline is firmer, and the small droop under my chin is much tighter. The results were noticeable right away and I've noticed that three weeks later, the area is even tighter. There was also some additional fullness created along my jawline which has a nice, natural aesthetic. The under chin area tightening is great... probably a 70 to 80% improvement. My entire reason for doing this procedure was to help the looseness starting under my chin, and it definitely did the trick.
I also enjoyed meeting Dr Halaas. She's friendly, non-judgmental, easy to talk to, and explained the science behind the procedure clearly. The actual procedure is fairly quick and really was essentially no downtime. I gave a lecture later that same day to a room of graduate students, and went out to dinner with a good friend, and no one could tell I just had "work done". there was small skin puckering at the insertion site that disappeared in about 2 - 3 days, that was easily covered up with make-up in the interim. At one of the four insertion sites I got a small bruise about the size of a dime but it was close to my hairline and easily covered up. I've also done fraxel dual, infini and a few chemical peels, which each have their own anti-aging benefits... but, this was my favorite fancy derm procedure that I've tried because the results are so obvious, and the process was a breeze. (I'm not posting pics because I don't want my face all over the internet, sorry you'll have to take my word for it)

This is the same procedure I want to have done. Do you know how long this lasts for?

Let me jump in and tell you how long it lasts.....it lasts ZERO days because it doesn't work.

If you look up my review, it is far from positive. I am all over this board ranting about what a joke of a procedure and joke of a doc who performed the procedure is.

I love the results of my silhouette instalift. I had three threads on each side. I'm considering adding two more!

Cathleen B is indeed unhappy with her procedure and makes negative comments every chance she can. I am someone that is HAPPY with the silhouette instalift. My cheeks are lifted nicely and I had three per side. I was interested in this thread because I'm thinking about adding two more. Lower jaw area and neck.

You are correct - I am indeed unhappy with the results of my procedure. You are also correct that I make negative comments about this procedure every chance that I get.
My scam artist...I mean doc did only 4 total sutures for $4500 -- which is an amazing ripoff considering Dr. Julius Few is one of the top users of this product and gets the sutures for a very low price from the manufacturer.
