The attack of the spider veins...

Hey guys! So it's been 9 months since my last review and I must say this treatment/procedure is extremely expensive for the outcome results. I'm not so sure if the spider veins were faded completely or temporarily. Well, most of my veins reappeared in the same areas after a few months after treatment very few of them are gone. I guess I won't know for sure until a year or so since, most of them decided to show up again. My doctor did explain to me that I needed several treatments. Which, I have not kept up with yet because of the high cost of the treatments. I do understand that it is best to stick to a professional regardless of price. I am still giving this a tumbs up only because even if this was to work as a temporary solution before summer it can work to hide them ugly spidery looking legs but, it will come at a high price. FYI if anyone is thinking of getting this done make sure not only you have a qualifying doctor but make sure you have money to keep up with treatments. I am planning on getting other treatments soon depends on the weather because the sun during summer time, if your legs are exposed to the sun after a treatment it can cause skin discoloration.

First I like to say, I never had spider veins or...

First I like to say, I never had spider veins or any green looking pop out veins ever, well.... maybe just a tiny one on one of my knees since i was a kid. I had my pregnancy still nothing ... Had beautiful legs for a few years more just until I reach a stage in my life. I began to gain weight all of a sudden, they began appearing slowly and with in a year they look like they were ready to take over my legs. It never bother me at first until my boyfriend pointed it out to me and made a weird face like "you better take care of that!" My toughs were wow are they that bad? So, I stop wearing shorts, bathing suits, short dresses. Even my mom gave and my cousin gave me the sad face. They both have only spider veins, but they started at a later stage in life for them. I was young only 26 at the time. I had enough! I wanted my self confidence back. Technically, I can't change back time, but thanks to Sclerotherapy I can change back my image. A week ago I had my first Sclerotherapy session. The happiest I've been in a long time. I researched doctors and the producer as much as I could. Price wasn't that big of an issue, because if you want the best job done you need to find best at the end the money will be well worth it. In two more days I'll be 29 this has been pretty much a birthday gift to myself. The procedure took about 30-35 mins. The Dr had one long needle using the solution Asclera. Since there is such a limited amount we decided to do the worst area first. My thigh! Yes, only one! Its a pricey procedure so do your research I'm glad I did mine. I'm not going to lie, I was disappointed that I only had one area done. Anyhow, the Dr. put the needle in and out about 30 to 40 times I think it just felt a lot. I also like to say, I watched like every Youtube video out there just to get the idea or picture of it and let me tell you... I honestly think is BS the veins disappearing right in front of your eyes??? Well, it could be possible but how effective is it? In my case that didn't happened. Once the needle is in you not only feel the needle going into your painful vein you also feel a sting afterwards like you just got stung by bees.. Yes, a family of bees! lol ... You also bleed. just a bit so make sure you get a medical cloth or something to not ruin you compression garment or pants. Oh, by the way make sure you wear lose pants. The compress garment was $85 in NYC. Yes, it was not included in the procedure. Some health insurances pay for the procedure and the garment depending on your situation. So check up on yours if they do. My plans are to do about 3 session total. My leg looks amazing after the 2nd or 3rd day I ALMOST CRIED from how different my thigh looked. My boyfriend's jaw fell open and he said "Omg, you have nothing"! "I can't believe it actually works." It put the biggest smile on my face. I am now considering finishing what I started.
