Everything is going really well by now! I still have swelling in my nose, but I started taping it at night, and that seems to help. I'm trying to be patient, but it's so hard! The swelling issue is for real!

Almost 7 weeks!

Thought I'd do a quick update!
Feeling good overall... a few issues have popped up. A suture is working its way out of my columulla, which is weird! I was going to go have it pulled out but trimmed it to go to work and now I can't see it at all! Probably will stop in to Dr Kwak if I have time next week and can see it again!
Nose is still pretty hard a little swollen after I have a few beers, and still numb on the end. Inside the left nostril it is very clear, but in the right nostril I have a square bump that takes up some space. Dr said we would check it at my 2 month appointment, and not to stress. It is just annoying! Could be a graft or something, but luckily you can't see it from the outside! If it doesn't end up going down, I wouldn't mind finding out if it is possible to do something about it. We'll see what he says!
My chin numbness is almost completely gone, and it just feels a little tight. I've been using the scar bandages at night and the scar is pretty flat already!
That's about it! If I were to do it all again (and I definitely would) I would have the rhinoplasty in the fall or winter. The reason for this is that allergies have been really bad this spring, and has made it tough to avoid blowing my nose, and has definitely been a bit miserable! Something to consider, all my fellow allergy sufferers!
(By the way I tried wearing sunglasses today, but couldn't keep them on for long because my nose still has that "deep bruise" feeling)

You look great! It took me awhile to ease into sunglasses and then my regular glasses too. And great advice regarding fall/winter surgery IMO. I found it very easy to just hide out and hibernate for a couple weeks while recovering - the summer time is when everyone's out and about!! Really happy for you :)

Thanks so much! I hope you are also doing well :-) Just curious- have you had any "lumpiness" inside your nose? Asking because I know we both had grafts. Thanks!!
