My life has dramatically changed due to my epic fail breasts. I have a lot of life left and didn't want my boobs to be an obstacle to that happiness. I have had ongoing breast issues for 13 yrs and this was the only recommended choice for me. I always appreciated my breasts because it was never a matter of if but when a mastectomy was going to happen. My heart goes out to all us ladies who have to endure the flurry of tests, waiting, call backs, biopsies, surgeries, etc. In addition, us ladies still try to balance work and relationships/family. Biggest challenge I have ever faced. I am thankful for my friends and family

I am still in my Tussue Expanders. I will post new pics after my TE to implants. I am scheduled to get 650 or 700 high profile Mentor implants. I really think it has helped to see people's before and after pics to get an idea of what it would be like. Our situation is unfortunately nothing like a regular breast augmentation. I found it helpful to get a general idea and to see how wonderfully all you ladies have moved on looking so very beautiful. xoxo

I am in the same boat you are. I have tissue expanders filled to 700 ml each after bilateral total mastectomies for dcis. Exchange surgery in about a month. Where did u get that pink shirt...I need one of those:) Good luck and God bless. It helps just knowing that you are not alone in this. My last message didn't take, so I had to write another one

Hi, Kingster. Good luck and God bless to you too. I found a really good site www.breastcancer.org and it has many threads on exchange surgery and stuff. I am roadrash over there. You might find it helpful. So many of us are in this together. I found those type of shirts on Amazon. There is a good variety. My daughter got it for me for Christmas. http://www.amazon.com/Womens-YES-THEYRE-FAKE-Softstyle/dp/B009NLXM3E

My mother died from inflammatory breast cancer at the age of 50. I was 14 at the time and have been on the lookout for breast cancer ever since. So glad mine was caught early. I am so thankful for my supportive family and friends as you are. Luv all your pics. Just remember that our boobs don't define us:) anyway take care and goodnight.
