7 week update

lisades
$675
I thought it was about time I added an update so here it is, procedure was 7 weeks yesterday .

I have to say I've now decided that this was a complete waste of money . 7 weeks and there is zer improvement , in fact I would go as far as to say I think it looks worse that it did before I started. I still have a fe a lumps on that left side that you can see in sunlight under the shin , plus my jewels are worse than before .

So completely disappointed , I really hoped all that pain the first 10 days would have been worth it .... sadly not .

Thank you lisades.......although I have heard that the results are always subject to who is doing it,and Dr Strawford has an excellent reputation ,and his charges seem to mirror that,£2,400 ...so I do expect the best....fingers crossed.?

Yes I had heard the same which is why I chose my doctor carefully , he actually teaches the procedure ! I guess everybody just reacts differently and unfortunately this just did not work for me . I wish I had never had it done sad to say .
Fingers crossed for you that it's a complete success and you're really happy with your results xx

I had mine done when threadlift was a fairly new procedure. My doctor was well known for cosmetic procedures in Manhattan Beach (no surgery). I went on my lunch break and the procedure took less than 2 hours on the jowl to cheek area on both sides. I felt no pain at all and went back to work after the procedure was done. There was some popping of the thread knots (less than 3) and the doctor said not to worry about it because there were so many knots to lift up my skin. It lasted a few years so it really depends on the skill of the doctor. My skin had no bumps, it was smooth, no evidence of the threads. I'm sorry you had a difficult experience.

I wrote in this site some time ago regarding thread lift being a waste of money. I’ve had them done, jaw and cheeks and noticed no difference, although admit I didn’t experience as much pain and bumps like yourself, more discomfort. Sounds good in theory but realistically very short lived for the price., would not recommend this to anyone,

So does this mean you are satisfied with your result and the effect the treatment has had on your face?
October 15, 2017
I'm afraid I can't give an honest answer yet . I'm 3 weeks post procedure but I have been told it will be up to 2 months before I see the full effect .
If how my face is today was the final result , then no I wouldnt say the procedure is effective at all . I'll reserve judgement for now and give it the time they say , and hopefully end up pleased and feeling it was worthwhile

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review which is so helpful for many people, this is the best in depth one so far, hope you are okay and happy with the results I'm going to stick with fillers and botox in jaw for now as this recovery would make me too anxious x

Hi Lynsey , thank you I felt I had to write it in detail because I had so many panics and fears those first 10 days and no post that reassured me others had gone through the same .
3 weeks now and the bumps and pain have completely gone ( thank god ) .
Fillers and Botox are great and they've worked great for me in the past , but they only last 3 months or so with me so the reason for the thread was to try and achieve the same look but hopefully it lasting at least 12 months .
I'll continue to update every month or so and hopefully I can assure people it's worth it in the end x

Thanks for posting with such detail

Where did you get this one please? It has made me think twice about having it as I’m a terrible worrier and those first 10 days would made me worry like mad.

Hi , my doctor is in Wigan uk
Everybody seems to react differently but this was my experience , so you may be lucky like lots on here and have no problems .. just be aware though you could be like I was . Or some other ladies on here who have commented on my thread who seemed to have similar or worse
Good luck :)

Days 16 and 17 ......., still bumpy lumpy

lisades
Day 16 - still bumps visible
Day 17 - thinks the bumps are a little less today , but I did notice when I had a really good laugh today at work shooting pains in both cheeks , but that went not long after and there's no lasting pain so all good . Just wish these bloody bumps would go now ! Still can't see any lift in the cheeks to be honest
