Mini Face Lift, and Neck Lipo - Novi, MI

When the bandages were removed one week post surgery I had extensive infection on both sides of my face. It has been about 5 months and I have extensive scaring left behind. Although the Dr is still doing follow ups with me and the end result will yet to be determined I think I will have permanent scaring In addition to this my right. ear lobe is pulled forward and the arc has been straigtened as to see right inside of my ear canal.

Horrible results. Aside from a devastating infection which lead to permanent facial scarring which Dr Reisin wouldn't do anything about fixing or helping me to get it fixed. The lift itself was done poorly. Several things were incorrectly done. Starting off with "Dog Ears" This is known in the industry as folds of skin next to the eye. Due because the surgeon didn't go along the hairline, instead curved the insision toward the eyes. Leaving a large fold of skin which during the course of recovery Dr Reisin kept telling me would go away. Here it is 1 yr and 3 months later, they still exist.. Secondly, both ears have issues. One earlobe is pulled down in a very unnatural position, the other ear has a deformed , (sorry I don't know the technical name for the flap on the inside of the ear.) Either way, it is flat, leaving an open feeling and look to the ear itself. The area under the eyes have a saggy look (for the lack of a better term) not pulled back enough and equal to the tension on the lower face.
Aside from all of these issues. On several occasions during the post surgery visits. Dr Reisin made comments like " The good part of this (meaning the serious infection that he caused) is that your face lift will last longer" as a result of the infection!!! What? He also told me on several occasions that the infection will not leave permanent scarring!!!! Another What??? I now have to seek out another surgeon to correct all of the errors as well as endure months of and even years of laser treatments.

"Dr Reisin thinks he can perform All procedures" This is what I was told by a technician that works in the office.Who's name I won't mention in this review as I don't wish her any ill . He isn't good enough to be performing facelifts.
I was told by Stuart L. Gorelick, president/CEO of Star Plastic Surgery Regency Medical Group,PLLC. that Dr Reisin has performed thousands, that is 1000's of facelifts. This has got to be a Bold Face Lie! as well as all of the other lies told to me by Dr Reisin.
