I am 43 yrs. old 5'4" 129 pounds, medium build and am currently wearing a 34A cup which doesn't even fit properly :( . I am scheduled for April 8th, I am very excited and terrified at the same time! I have been going back and forth between 325cc & 350cc silicon, I am looking to be a full a C when this all done :) Looking forward to hearing from some women that are also going through with this and how they are dealing with this emotional before surgery roller coaster lol.

Yes I am nervous too, I am on a mental roller coaster. But this site really helps to talk to other women that are going through this at the same time. My husband is great, but he just excited where I am just thinking to much about the what if's, I wish I could turn a switch off and stop thinking so much!

I was a nervous wreck! I researched for over a year...looking at pictures, reading reviews and obsessing for over a year before I finally did it!! And even once I decided, picked the MD and the date....I still drive myself CRAZY over the size!!;)) Everything you are feeling is totally normal! Just be sure to get more than one consult! Bring in wish pictures, describe what you want and listen to their suggestions.
It's crazy because I obsessed about the size and sone days I think they are so big...and other days I think "I could have gone bigger!" ;) I'm just having fun finding styles that look good on me now- and SO Thankful that I finally took the leap!!! it seems that with each season and shopping trip im finding new favorite styles to wear!! I'm having fun with them now!!!:))))

When I went into surgery, I was on the fence between 350cc - 400cc. I told Dr. Ozolins to use her best judgement call once she got in there. It looks like we're similar in height and weight, but that doesn't mean for sure we have the same space for implants, which would bring about the same results. Anyway, Dr O went with 375 (300 on the other to create symmetry). She told me after surgery that the 400cc just didn't fit naturally. I felt comfortable enough to trust her to make that call during surgery. She said if I had gone any bigger that my implant would sit too high and look unnatural. Based on your measurements, Dr O will do a great job to help you achieve the look you're going for. Right now, I'm a small D with the implant sizes I ended up using (bra size started at B though). As breasts settle, size and shape may change a little though. My best advice is to think more about breast fullness than size. You're in good hands though!

She said she is going to bring In 3 different sizes. I asked about the 400cc but she said they were to big for my measures the 375cc are the highest she would recommend going. I really like that she is not just putting in what I want cause I really have no idea, she has seen 1000's of boobs lol. I do trust her I like that she is conservative and I am just looking for a full natural look your right I need to get size out of my head and put this IN her hands. I am so glad I saw your post really helps knowing you have same dr. Which surgery center did u go to?

March 28, 2015
I went to Tru Vista surgery center in Troy. It's a nice place. Where are you scheduled to go?

March 28, 2015
That's where I am scheduled as well, a bit of a distance from livonia but it will be worth it!

Looking good! Breasts definitely drop at different rates, which is totally normal. I would talk to the doctor about the swelling differences just to be sure. One of your pics it looks like the swelling is more than the other but it's hard to tell for sure. Doctor Ozolins assured me that it's ok to call any time I have concerns. How did everything go for you on surgery day? What size did you go with? How are you feeling?

Hi 4kidmom surgery day went great very pleasurable experiance. Unfortunately Dr ozolins is on vacation :( but i will see her Tuesday I did talk to her partner though cause I am still so nauseous and backed up. I took a couple differect pictures of different angle and they look much better. I planned on going to work tomorrow bit that's not looking good I feel extremely nausis I just can't shake it! Oh ended up with 375cc.
how r 7 doing?

I felt pretty nauseous for the first couple of days too. I think it's a combo of anesthesia and strong pain meds. I'm going to see Dr O on Tuesday in the afternoon. Maybe I'll see you there! Too bad I don't know what you look like from the neck up. Lol. Hopefully you'll feel good enough to go to work tomorrow. I've been feeling better lately. Tummy tuck pain was far worse recovery than breasts, so hopefully that means you'll recover quicker. I got super backed up too. Nurses recommended milk of magnesia, which didn't help. Then doc recommended dulcolax supository, which worked but was not very gentle. Hopefully things get moving for you easy lol

I am finally feeling better in the backed up area yay. My appointment is at 9:45 with her tuesday. R u early afternoon it would be kinda cool to meet u. I am not to sure about work tomorrow I still get so tired although I haven't taken any pain meds today that's a plus.so happy to hear things are looking up for u as well

Good luck at your appointment, let me know how it goes. Mine went really well I am doing so much better. I have been on the most horrible roller coaster ride of my life, I have been in tears for days thinking I was deformed and had made a horrible decision, but all of a sudden as of last night I started looking normal and I am liking them now :) She says they will continue to change drop and fluff in the next 4 - 6 weeks so I am excited all over again!!! :)

Glad your appointment went well! The whole experience is definitely an emotional roller coaster, especially when there's so much money involved and such major changes to your body. My appointment was pretty good, but the office was way behind schedule and the wait was so long. Anyway, my swelling is getting better, and Dr o said it can take up to 6 months for breasts to drop completely. I'm still a little discouraged with my progress, but she said it's like being 6 weeks pregnant and being worried about delivery. Waiting for things to heal and settle is the hardest part!

April 14, 2015
This definitely isn't a quick process or at least as quick as we would like it! Well at least the hardest parts are behind us now we just play the waiting game. Hey give yourself some credit, dang you got a lot of stuff done I got less then half of what you got done and I am a baby u are doing awesome, hang in there!
So glad you started a pre op review! Feel free to post any pre op and/or wish boob pictures in your review too. Glad you can finally do this for yourself. ;) Keep us posted!
