The total cost also cover a syringe of Juvéderm (_____), NOT just the Botox. The initial visit was March 13th (BOTOX & most of syringe of JUVADERM). I also had a follow-up visit on March 30Th (the remainder of the JUVADERM & a bit of BOTOX). I have a follow-up appointment for May1st. I called the office today, April 8th, just to ask whether the Botox may start to wear off since it'll be almost 2 months/what I read said SOME begins to wear off then (don't want to have to start buying more Botox). The receptionist, J____, said, " YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY MORE BOTOX!" I found that to be a very rude statement to a patient in a plastic surgeons office. This would not be an acceptable thing to say under any circumstances. The jury is still out on my vote for the TOTAL treatment. The doctor is much more personable :-). More to come

My follow up is that I decided to not to pursue treatment with this provider. (A small volume of additional Botox was applied subsequently by a different provider, which will still require another touch-up to be completely effective. However, the attitude of the staff was a real turn-off - not to mention their high prices. I'll refrain from discussing another questionable action that took place there . I wouldn't recommend this provider .)

Hi Msfyt,

Just checking in - how are you doing? Are you happy with the results from the different provider? Are you still researching doctors or have you chosen the new one? Love to see some pics - please let me know if you need help posting them.

Thanks!

Chris

I've visited this provider three times in order to get things just right. It's much better to under correct than to over correct (I will post some pictures when my bruises are completely gone - still have a few small ones but I'm happy with the outcome.)

That would be great, thank you! Photos really help tell your story, you know? I'm really happy you're happy with the results.

You asked for a photo so here's an impromptu, "make-upless" photo taken today

Using dermal fillers & Botox MUST be done slowly. It's SOOO much better to UNDER fill than to OVER fill. Conservatism applies completely when having this kind of work done.

Wow! You certainly don't look 6_!!! There isn't a crease on you! Thank you for posting your pics!

I agree - conservatism is best - and patience! What's next for you?

Next? That's it until this wears off...and even then, I'm not sure. I was just telling someone how stressful it is because you're worried how it's going to turn out and if you picked the right provider.... So many things to consider when having these things done. THANK YOU!
